- In today’s range video, I will be taking out one of the most iconic firearms of the 18th and 19th century: the Brown Bess Musket. The test I will be doing is to see the combat effectiveness at 25, 50, and 75 yards on an individual target with this musket. I will be shooting a paper cartridge that I constructed that holds a .690 lead round ball and 110grs of 1FG Goex black powder.
I do apologize in advance for any wind disruption in the video as I do not have a mic yet for my videos.🤷🏼♂️
Thank you so much for watching!👍🏻
Make sure to check out Jefferson arsenal for all your black powder cartridge kit needs.

I've been looking to get my hands on one of these for a while now haha, this and a Charleville
It’s a load of fun🔥🫡
@@TheMusketMan98 Oh yeah i absolutely bet
It's flintlock central here in PA. We have a flintlock only deer season. I love that time of the year.
Heck yah that’s awesome 👌🏼
Bess always makes you smile!
It does for me😂
very cool, I've had my Pedersoli Charleville 1777 for a few months and i love it, greeting from Germany✌
1777 is a good one.👌🏼Thanks for watching.
Really cool video, I would love to see a Prussian Potsdam musket on this channel. Are any companies reproducing them? I would imagine originals in fireable condition would be extremely rare and expensive
I do believe they make that particular reproduction in that musket👍🏻
Nice
Thank you🫡
