Its truly insane. Like its easy to forget how much that actual Monster Hunter experience will be changed while looking at these trailer because they feel so familiar and so much like what we love about the Monster hunter experience.
Hunting Horn looks so crazy with how fast the recitals are and echo bubbles looks like it'll be super important for the horns dps which kinda reminded me of harvest moon in sunbreak with having to stay in the circle for the most damage on longsword counters only this time it's hunting horn songs. Is it just me or does the impact echo song at 9:40 look like a projectile sound wave going across the echo bubbles if so that will be crazy against any big monsters that may be in this game I'm hoping for Dalamadur to make a comeback since he's not even in GU.

I have a feeling that maybe some songs will be move exclusive to that particular horn. Just like a reimagining of the song sonic blast that would literally mimic a sonic bomb. Otherwise I don't see why they would switch weapons mid video
I cannot wait to get my hands on the gunlance. The charged shelling now looks as if it's condensing each shell into a single powerful shot depending on long you charge it for. I can't wait to try it out if they release on public demo if not I'll just have to rely on CaoSlayer to see if my theories are right.
The fact that Capcom feels confident enough to show us EVERY weapon this early. Leads me to believe the trailer we're gonna get at gamescom is gonna be the release date trailer. There's just no reason for them to be showing us every weapon this early if they weren't ready to reveal the release date.
I think they’re doing this to get it all out before the first publicly playable demo. That way people going to gamescom will have things they’re looking forward to trying out.

Especially considering the fact the game is gonna be fully playable in a little over a week. It just feels like a weird decision to not show a release date trailer at the apex of hype for the game. At what is one of the biggest gaming events of the year. Also like what other big event would they reveal something that big at other then the game awards? Which would probably only be like one to three months from the potential release of the game at the latest? Tokyo Game Show? I don't think they've ever revealed a release date trailer during TGS. So probably not? But hey this is just speculation.

@@Jaycan Normally I would agree if we were talking about Monster Hunter as we knew it before World. When Monster Hunter was still mainly popular in Japan pretty much exclusively. But Monster Hunter has become a worldwide phenomenon. It'd be weird to announce a release date at an event that's mainly tailored to one very specific side of the world now.
Oh yea we gonna be BUFFING EVERYBODY! All the time now. Horn looks so good that I think even more people will end up playing it which means buffs galore for every hunter!
I will miss Blast Dash and I will miss Magnificent Trio.... but GODS I don't think I care that much these things look super fun to play as they are I CAN'T WAIT!!!!
Even if theres no Blast Dash, all the new stuff for GL in Wilds so far are worth the trade. Also lots of Frontier moves here, like the dodge shelling (Also called blast dash funnily enough) Hunting Horn looks hella fun too, look like World mechanics with Rise aggression
Yea they gave it more mobility which is what I felt it needed, but they did it in such a way that is different from what I expected. Can't wait to give it a shot!
The speed seems juuuuuust right. Thats kinda the theme for the whole game really. It seems faster than World, but slower than Rise which feels like a REALLY sweet spot. Can't wait to actually get my hands on it. Wish I could go to gamescom!
about the colors, everything is white in these trailers, the smoke when for hit effect on monster, gunlance building up charge, the shells have white smoke, kinsect marking is even white. either this is a stylized thing or a placeholder. maybe they want a minimalist realistic look. not having element weapons to comapre hit effects will make it hard to figure out but logically it seems like everything being the same white smoke effect, im more inclined to think its placeholder because of its sooo prevalent, unless its a steampunk theme or something we'll see.
Yea maybe these videos are from an older build of the game before they put the effects in. Then when we get some of the Gamescom footage we'll see more effects from the weapons. I doubt they'll put elemental weapons in the demo, but we'll have to wait and see!
I wonder if we'll get more focus strikes... because I feel 1 for such a big game isn't enough, and the fact that we'll get G-rank as well which will give us more attacks, and I hope 'focus strikes'.
I'm curious with you on colors of notes. But what if a note is, going off of you as well, just a note off of the button you press. So a song is just 1 note ... Which makes me wonder about the symphony skill that takes L2 after a song play. I think it was a Melony. By the way, Greatsword + Hunting Horn combo is what I'm really looking forward to
I find it hilarious that gl got so much time devoted to it. if that was in the cards, couldn't ig have gotten like 4 seconds to show off a red buff air combo? They showed so many assist kinsect attacks that they could have cut one and that would have been half of that time freed up anyway anyway. I loved the gl video because it showed almost everything the weapon is known for, along with the new stuff. They even went so far as to show charged shelling getting a rework and that was the first thing you see. Freaking charged shelling, the thing that you were almost punished for using in Rise because you sacrificed blast dash. In World it was just awful damage until the Iceborne buff. They even went so far as to give us this shelling recoil step thing as a mini blast dash type mobility move. The part where he's using it to propel himself, admittedly a short distance, twice then does the run up slap. I'm happy with this as more mobility for the weapon, in the more grounded gameplay. These 2 trailers are the best so far, i'm so hyped. Side note, those shelling attacks in a 2 shell combo look like wide shelling to me. A full burst combo into wyrmstake, into a new reload animation, into another full burst at a different angle, and another wyrmstake to finish. It's a new fast reload that also refill wyrmstake. They may have swapped it, in Rise wyvern fire let you block during the animation, maybe now charged shelling lets you block when it's in its longer animation that it has now. Wyvern fire did not look like it was blocking. That was a counter flash, like if you block at the perfect time you get to full burst. Not too thrilled about that, every weapon using counters as a crutch was a criticism i had for Rise. Earth shaker as the wound popping move is awesome. The bubbles look like echo note bubbles but they seam to work like the silk bind with the ball you leave on the ground that does extra hits. None of these videos had them swap to a different weapon before. They could have for gl, to show different shelling types, but they didn't. They didn't have to for gl but why did they swap for the hh? Is that move only on some horns and it replaces another move the first horn had? It may be a song, or something else different horns will get. safe bet is it's a song. That may let you hit between the song and encore. Rise didn't have to where you play a song twice in a combo to get a stronger effect. This seams like an interrupt mid song but it may be an encore that lets you hit between it and the initial song.

I can't wait for charge blade, i really hope it's kept it's chainsaw mode and bring back worlds amped elemental discharge, mhr discharge was really disappointing but i really liked the chainsaw mode so hopefully i eat good with the rest of the weapons 😂
seeing how they kinda gave gunlance two chainsaw moves with that fullburst swipe being like one too, I think it's safe to say chargebalde has to be getting something new that violates the Geneva Convention

@@Jaycan I’m an anime weeb at heart so iceborne/risebreak long sword spoke to me can’t lie haha. Very curious to see what kind of tweaks it got in wilds. The favoritism it has gotten in 5th gen gets a lot of flack, but I just love its counter playstyle. Switch axe was great in worldborne, but risebreak is my favorite iteration. I’d be hyped if some of risebreaks move set bled into wilds with world’s impact similar to hunting horn

Charge blade is probably going to be divisive since I feel SOMETHING is going to be left out unless we actually do get swappable focus strikes.
