I had a ton of fun making this video because of how fun this episode is in general! It definetly was a bit harder than my other videos due to the amount of easter eggs jam packed in Cubby but I'm happy its finally out there lol, I hope you enjoy buddies :)

My favorite moment in this episode is when Chilli's using the tape measure and says something like "35 meters? How?" Because of the way Bandit's gotten the tape measure tangled around the maze. I think this was a subtle metaphor for there being more space in the room than Chilli initially gives credit for, with the girls able to pack a whole pseudo-mansion all into that one room.

As much as i agree with the theme of gratitude i think someone should give these precious beans an award for pillowfort building. Yes they went overboard with the rooms but oh my Dog these children are architectural geniuses to have all of that built out of pillows, blankets, cushions, crayon drawings, stuffed animals and toys. The imaginative inner child in me applauds them for their creativity and imagination
Maybe they could be architects when they grow up. They did a pretty good job in Flat Pack as well.

Oh my Dog i wish my childhood bedroom looked like those rooms!!! But NOOOOOO. Stuff like that costs money...hense why i want to (hopefully) design superfan homes for people and auction them off only to fans of the respective property. Everything from the architecture to the furniture, plumbing, appliances, and electronics looking like they jumped out of the video games, anime, cartoon, film, comic book, or fantasy novel that inspired me to make the home. If the home is inspired by Harry Potter or Twisted Wonderland i would even add secret rooms behind paintings, statues, barrels, faux walls and mirrors. If You wanna live in your favorite fictional world i will spare no expense at making sure everything fits that vision.

I'll be honest: sometimes I watch Bluey eps and have NO IDEA what I'm supposed to be learning from them (which makes me feel dumb, haha). lol. This was one of them. So, your series and this ep really help me out! lol. Thanks a lot!
I think that’s what makes Bluey so good. You don’t even always realize you’re learning, even if you know you are. I always preferred that sort of kid’s show over like, Daniel Tiger. It’s a good show but it shoves the lessons in your face 😅

I love how in blue toys don't magically disappear and different toys just magically appears
One of my absolute favorite references in this show was the reference to the movie Friday, in unicorse. “My neck! My back! My neck and my back! Whiplash call my lawyer!” While pretending bluey shoved him over. Its referencing a Friday clip where Ezal tries faking slipping and falling to sue the drug store and is on the floor like “my neck! My back! My neck and my back!! Awwwwwh I want a hundred and fifty THOUSAND” I loved it
I really love the shock factor for those who understand it because it’s the last show you’d expect to reference Friday LOL
At first I didn’t quite get what this episode was trying to say but now when I’m watching you cover it, it makes a lot of sense! It feels a bit similar with WoodWork but I think this episode expands on this subject a bit more! “This is what happens when your not happy with you got! Someone’s husband gets it”

Someone on the Bluey team for sure is a fan of Greek mythology. I forget what episode exactly but it's one where bingo is playing doctor. Bandit plays her patient and gives his name as Telemachus (Son of Odysseus and Penelope). I wouldn't be surprised if there's more references to Greek myth throughout the show in some little details.
The teacher's name is Calypso, which is the name of a Goddess from Greek mythology who helped Odysseus build a boat to escape Ogygia, a cursed Island that she could not leave.
Super fun rundown. I love all the little hidden bits. I always miss them on my own as I just always get sucked into the episode and following the characters proper. Haha.

Yeah but is anyone going to ignore the fact that bluey and bingo became architects in under an hour and built a full on out mansion just for a plushie. That thing filled up the living room yet had a disco room, horse stables, a dining room, a library a bathroom and playroom just to name a few! Heck, these were the ones shown on screen, so imagine what else was in there!
The observatory thats an umbrella with a sheet and glow in the dark stars is my personal favorite room.
Gratitude is a powerful asset to have in one’s life, it helps getting through times that make us feel we ‘need’ more when we really ‘want’ more.
Loving our family and friends, keeping safe within our homes and being able to do the things that enrich our lives, who needs more than that? ✨

i actually get emotional whenever i notice that painting of the Heeler brothers, i think my favourite of them is the one featured in Smoochy Kiss during the pee-foot scene. They’re so cute, desperately hoping we will get to see more of them during the Frisky and Rad wedding episode or another episode coming out this season. 🥹

Christ, I had no idea there were this many Easter eggs when I saw this for the first time yesterday! The only one I saw was the yes/no button under the third couch cushion (2:56). Funnily enough, Bandit also finds it on the same sofa before tossing it across the room at the start of Tickle Crabs.

Id hang out in the star room if i could fit. I still love those glowy stars. Projectors are cool but they blind you with the light beams. Glow stars are much safer for your vision and my astigmatism makes it hard to appreciate bright lights like that. The soft glow is something i can see clearly. I wish the streets at night were less harsh, its terrifying driving with kiddos in the backseat when i can hardly see because there's too much light.

I honestly assumed Chili was realizing how many "rooms" the girls fit in the living room. But I think you're more correct because knowing the layout, that should have been noticed before it collapsed if at all.
I knew I should have watched the whole thing before commenting. Pineapple is a reoccurring easter egg? Is there a Psych fan on the staff?! That's actually pretty cool. And honestly, I was thinking of the tape measure as a way Bandit was tracking where he'd been but despite one of my fixations being Greeco-Roman mythology (actually, most mythology) I'm shocked that went over my head. I'm blaming the fact that I've played depictions of it more than read the story and, usually to add to suspense, video games referencing it don't give you a rope to track your progress.

Honestly, I'd love to see you cover an episode of Thomas at some point. There are a lot of eps (mainly in the first 5 seasons) that have morals massaged into the framework of the show instead of jammed down the kids' throat. And if you happen to be a fan of trains in general, I think you'll really enjoy it. It was the Thomas fandom that got me into Bluey after all.
Ya know fun fact, that show was my favorite show growing up, and it would be nice to take a trip down memory lane so I’ll consider the possibility buddy. I always felt sorta connected to the show since my middle name is Thomas as well lol. Thanks for suggesting this buddy 💙

The whole thing also made me think of the movie, Dave Made A Maze, as well, though the Bluey one was cushions and Dave's was pure cardboard.
They're was a book about an overcrowded house and the family added a variety of animals, then got rid of them, and then everyone was grateful lol
It really irks and depresses me sometimes how common it is for human beings to want more and more things in their life, even when they have *plenty* to not only make ends meet, but to enjoy a lot of life pleasures and luxuries that many others can only dream of having. It’s like humanity was born with a glass that will never be full enough for them, no matter how much water they pour into it.
I think that desire to always want more is the part of our psychology that drives humanity towards innovation and invention. If we were always content with what we have then we would still be living in simple huts with no electricity. It's a double edged sword.

I had a friend who had one of the squid plushies as a kid. I can answer why they "changed the colour" of the toy. The squid plushies have 2 sets of colours by default, you just have to turn the inside out from the bottom of the squid and poof! it changes to another variation of itself.
