What bread 🍞 do you choose?!
Great video too.

Bad for you
😂😂😂😂
Appreciate when people are honest enough to not claim something tastes like the original. 👍🏾
He's honest, humble, and joyous. This is what veganism should mean.
No it isn't looolll
@@ha1hy291 u are the proof of what he said 💀
@@rivalyralt6759 it’s still not the meaning of veganism..😂
Thank you so much for the recipe man! Since I have gone vegan it's been a little hard to get vegan alternatives for dairy, so this really helps. Thank you so much 💗
Thank you for going vegan :-)
@@veryveganmom All for the animals 😀
@@aparajita2023 absolutely. The environmental and health benefits are an added bonus but I do it 100% for the animals.
@@veryveganmom Yes same. How long have you been vegan for?
@@aparajita2023 almost 4 years. I wish I did it earlier. Biggest regret in life. But better late than never 🙂
Ive had this stuff everyday for the last two weeks. Its really good! I also made Jalapeño poppers with it. They turned out great as well.
Oh nice! I need to try using it in baking / frying!
I'm not even vegan but I still watch these
You don't have to be vegan to eat or enjoy plant based food...
My favorite cream cheese, is cream cheese with cinnamon and sugar on a toasted bagel.
This is great. I think you and Sauce Stache should do a collab where we just see you guys tinkering with vegan food science. I doubt I'd be the only one who could watch that for hours.
You know for the longest I thought it was the same person they favor a lot in the face
Sounds great! I love fresh jalapeños too.
As I have a family history of Cancer I need to avoid the estrogen in dairy so this is brilliant--thanks
perfectly creamy. adding to my recipe book🙏🏾✨
That's amazing, can you make cheesecake with it ?
Thank-you I will try with organic ingredients
As a vegetarian who wants to go vegan your chanel definitely help 😋!
I wish you so much success in your vegan journey 🌱
Mee tooo ❤
Bhai bread jo cream hota hai wo veg hai ki non veg
Holy shit. This is amazing 😍 mind blown 🤯
So glad you are playing this and what great games!
I hope you had fun playing, it was definelitely fun to watch these rounds.
thank you
I love your videos!! I feel like you genuinely strive for a product that is close to their original and they always come out so delicious. Thank you for sharing your recipes!
That sounds good.
Looks so good! You're the best!
Thanks for sharing!
This was so helpful!
One of the major problems with many vegan recipes is the use of cashews. Anaphylaxis limits my choices for a lot of dishes.
Sorry! Can you eat perhaps sunflower seeds? (Peeled)
I’ve done similar ricepy but with sunflowers instead and is good
Try macadamia nuts.
You could probably sub tofu for the cashews.
Add more water and you have sour cream as well
I'm not vegan. (Vegetarian for health reasons) but this guys stuff is super creative.
Thank you for the recipe
I'll definitely have to try that.
How I wish I wasn’t allergic to cashews
Can you eat raw sunflower seeds? They're often a good substitute, as is tofu in many recipes.
you can use sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, almonds, or honestly any high fat nut or seed
I'd use silken tofu before I tried harder nuts that don't get smooth easily
use walnuts
they do if you soak them first@@gritmakaveli
I’m somewhat embarrassed to say this, but this is the first time I’m realizing that the jalapeños I’ve been exposed to all my life were pickled.
And the fresh ones are sometimes like a bell pepper with heat and some will be so hot they make you cry! I like both but I like fresh the best
Bro that’s so badass thank you
"Put THAT on a cracka dude"😎👍🏽
Ooh I’ve been experimenting with making vegan yogurt from oats - I bet a little lactic acid would be a great addition!! Thank you for the tip!
Looks really nice, and is easy to make
That looks so yummy
Cashew( soaked in boiling hot water for 15m) , lactic acid, coconut cream..blend ... add your flavoring sweet tangy or savory
Damn, your opinion is super humble
Why do you make me hungry all the time?
Nice recipe
Yum!
Yep I'm doing this
Put some in the market for us. I’m buying first
magic
Omg I need it
Where did you buy the lactic acid???❤❤❤
Amazon - there's a link in the pinned comment. 📌
You’re so right…let’s leave the cows out of it! You’re fab-u-lous, TheeBurgerDude!
I bet adding a fruit element would be nice.
Gotta add some rejuvalac. So easy to make and you get that cheesey FunK smell and flavor.
where do you get your lactic acid? i don’t wanna buy from amazon
You can buy it from Modernist Pantry!
❤
You can do this with coconut cream powder and water too. You might need to tinker with the volumes though.
I cooked the field roast stadium dogs in crisco and they came out a lot better. Cooked up firmer. I gotta try scoring them to get that NJ style dog
Oh snap, I gotta try crisco woahhh
You can make plant-cheeses by using plantmilk and lemonjuice. Search it on yt
Funk yeah
Would adding nutritional yeast help with more cheesiness?
Have to try this one! Although my blender doesn't handle thicker substances very well 🤔
Hmmm you really need a high speed blender I think, but let me know how it goes!
Sounds great, is that from just one can of coconut milk then?
LOVE your editing and your recipes, your video always make me hungry :D question: do you ever do something about/respond to hate? I am getting a lot of hate for simply sharing my passion for vegan cooking... so frustrating
Thanks! I’ve made a few shorts addressing the comments I get. I find it’s best to educate and answer questions regardless if they’re bad faith or not :)
Hell yeah boss👑
If you are making it for cheesescake, do you add anything else?
Can malic acid be substituted for lactic acid?
A bit of tip from a vegan chef: if you’re not sure with the coconut cream, try using vegannaise!
Strained forager brand plain cashew yogurt is good too
I would pay a lot for a Vegan Smoked Salmon Cream Cheese spread for bagels. The Vegan Smoked Salmon part is the difficulty though. Every vegan smoked salmon I've tried has been horrible. Best thing I've found has been just a good smoked tofu+closing my eyes and trying to remember salmon. 🤣😔😭
Where do you find lactic acid?
shit, I'm gonna need to try this. especially the Jalapeno variety
Now this is a GOOD recipe. No "wait for 2 hours, bake for 3 hours, freeze for 15 hours, don't forget fairy dust" bullshit commercial grade recipe. this is a real BASIC, like aside from lactic acid with you can't just get in any random store at least where I live, it's really the bare bones.
How do you make cocoanut cream?
I just bought some, dammit. Well, at least I have the recipe for next time. 😄
Astronauts get all the tang they want.
Can you ferment this type of vegan cream cheese?
Where do you find coconut cream.
Does it sub in recipes well? !!
Like for sauces and such.
Economy beats eating vegan food. Here in Europe atleast. I will try this 1 day.
where do you get coconut cream?
How long does it stay fresh ?
How long can we store it ?
That looks delicious better than non vegan cream cheese
Ye
looks more cream cheese than cream cheese does
I have enough lactic acid on my legs from doing exercise 🫠
Finally, a vegan who doesn't force something to be as good as the non-vegan alternative, people love to say something tastes exactly like something else even though it doesn't, most of the time
I do think it’s as good, but it’s different too.
Would this work to cook with?
I usually use SO brand and add it to my tomato sauce or make a mushroom sauce with the store imitations.
I've cooked with it before with excellent results! 😊
Oh wow good to know, I haven’t tried it yet. What did you make?
@@TheeBurgerDude I made like a penne vodka once. Also a hamburger helper sort of thing. It's the perfect addition to lots of pasta dishes that you wanna make creamy!
Me not a vegan but lactose intolerance looking for a cheese recipe then this man brings out lactic acid
It’s vegan lactic acid. No lactose in it.
@@TheeBurgerDude wow I didn't know that existed thank you
My favorite is the trader Joe's one
Lactic acid king
Can you do this with almonds?
It won't be as good but you could try
1000% love the idea of this recipe, is there a substitute for the coconut cream by any chance? (Love your videos and can’t wait to get the cook book in the mail!)
Thank you!! I don’t know but I’d have to guess that there isn’t a substitute that I can think of, sorry!
Ok, thank you for your reply!! I appreciate it
I'd try plain Forager cashew yogurt strained 1 or 2x through cheesecloth ??
@gritmakaveli I’ll try this, thanks
can you sub the lactic acid for agaragar ?
No, you can use citric acid, lemon or apple cider vinegar.

If I were to use really thick vegan yogurt instead of coconut cream, would that work? I make it at home and I’ve been trying to figure out how to turn it into cream cheese and other cheeses. I strain it and turn it into really thick stuff. I want to try to have to buy as little stuff as possible. I already have lactic acid which I bought at your recommendation so if I could replace the cream all I’d have to buy here would be the cashews which would be awesome
Great question I’ll have to test it out!
Thanks for great video . Can we substitute cashews with low carb nuts
Nah it won't be the same
Since you’ve done a savory one-and you haven’t done it already- could you make a fruit one??? Like with raspberries and strawberries and stuff
Yes. Make the plain recipe and add vegan sugar or agave and fruit and maybe even some lime zest.
If you had a restart (vegan or not) I would eat at it every day
The only vegan I like.
what function of the lactic acid
Tang
How much lactic acid?
Full recipe link in pinned comment!
Can I use this to make a hot dip? Or will it separate?
You would do something like this but!!! Use non dairy milk instead of coconut cream so that its not as thick, the ratio is 1/3 part of cashews, 2/3 part non dairy milk, after is blended, put it in a sauce pan, heat it and add tapioca starch (slurred, 1 - 2 tbsp and about 1/3 cup of water) and whisk it until it thickens, it will take about 4 minutes!
I’ve never tried but Monica’s suggestion sounds good.
Imagine the lactic acid came from humans and it was some athlete that he got it from
WjTs lactic acid
Coconut cream with jalapeño
Is coconut cream coconut milk in a can? The really thick stuff?
Yes
@@TheeBurgerDude thank you!
