Well I wasn't intending to when I bought it from you but I think it's a cool thing you've created and I really like the simplicity of it - worth including in this video!
Hi Joe - not that I’ve not wicked at all, no - not like some of the other crazy stuff I’ve tried!! It ‘sticks’ to it rather than ‘grips’ to it - if that makes any sense?
I’ll do a quick one as soon as I can - it’s pretty simple stuff! Electrical tape is also great though as well as Velcro and gaffa tape...! It’s all about improvising, eh..!
I'm an electrician, and have cut thousands of zip ties. There is a proper tool called flush cutters or "flushies" for trimming the tails. My "flushies" are the best fingernail trimmers I have ever used.
Blimey - well, I’ve not idea what you did but it certainly worked for me! Sorry you had a rough race! Defo try stuff in training first - ‘nothing new on race day’ as they say!
@@1stElement yea definitely should have haha. Maybe I’ll give it another shot. I don’t necessarily slide forward but have seen it a lot so it is useful nonetheless
So, what tips, tricks and hacks have I missed?
Honestly, one of the best and most useful videos about TT Bikes. Straight to the point as well. Brilliant
+Harry Tait Harry, thats very kind of you to say - thank you!!
By the way, here’s the playlist of the other TT related content I’ve made: ruclips.net/p/PLh7-s97IV87iz_lN7YQxPusVb7ww0nGt_
Your voice cadence makes it feel like I'm listening to a John Cooper Clarke poem. Love it
Wow - that is probably the biggest compliment I’ve ever had on RUclips - thank you!!
This one came back through my feed had to watch her again. Love the vet wrap and the cube “proper MacGyver 😂 🔥
Proper mcgyver! Hahaha - I’d forgotten about that!
Thanks for the aerocap recommendation. I had no idea you were doing this video.

Maybe aerocap is convenient, but it's quite heavy and fuck wheel balance.
Superb video...great tips. Also, that was very enjoyable to listen to: it felt like a streets record from the early 2000s :)
+mental9mikey hahaha - thanks Mike - I wrote that track actually...!
Dope video! I will for sure be trying out the griptape on the handlebar trick on the new build 😀
Thanks mate - really digging your channel too!!
Great video mate. Subbed. Thanks for the tips.
Awesome - thank you!!
Solid list of hacks, thanks!
You’re welcome Dale - thanks for watching! Plenty of other TT videos up and plenty more to come..!

@@1stElement watched a few more videos and subscribed. Keep up the he good work.
that gel on toptube hack is cool
Haha! Thanks!
Where dit you get the angled spacers for your pro tt bars form?
Ah - I had those machines especially as I couldn’t find any!
@@1stElement you did that yourself?
As a former aircraft electrician, i can tell you the best way to piss off coworkers is to not use a flush cut on the zip-ties.
Now THAT I can imagine!
Flipping good tips!
Thank you!
Great video! Subscribed!
Really funny !
Thanks man!! Really appreciate it..!
No worries ! It’s so hard to get going these days ! How’s the training going ?
Going ok - exactly that - just hard to get going, eh...!
which TT bike has longest reach for big people?
im doing gels only this way from now on! Thanks
+Kuba ah great! Yep - make sure you snip them a bit to make it super easy to tear them - good stuff!!
+Kuba ace!! Glad it’s been useful!
I suppose taping a couple of gel packs to your top tube would be helpful if you are riding a triathlon...
So does the cohesive bandage wear on the skin suit at all?
Hi Joe - not that I’ve not wicked at all, no - not like some of the other crazy stuff I’ve tried!! It ‘sticks’ to it rather than ‘grips’ to it - if that makes any sense?
1st Element Endurance ok I’ll get some then. When are you doing this video on multi morph. Great tip that, I use electrical tap on stuff

That’s amazing information! I’m going to google them right now..!!
@@1stElement I'm so glad you are taking this up with Google. You should ask Google how to wipe your ass while you are there.
🙃
Awesome video but I will say I tried the Vet wrap and that was by far the most painful sprint triathlon I have ever done. Maybe I did it wrong???
Blimey - well, I’ve not idea what you did but it certainly worked for me! Sorry you had a rough race! Defo try stuff in training first - ‘nothing new on race day’ as they say!
