Hi! My male scientist sim was abducted and came back pregnant, I kept the alien baby. Sim years later that baby was grown and having a baby herself and my male got abducted again. So he had an alien son (I kept the baby) the same time he got an alien granddaughter. The aliens must have been mad I kept both babies because no sooner did his son become a toddler they got him again and he birthed twin alien babies. Yeah I sent those back. He was just about to be come an elder (and is now) so he did not need anymore babies to raise. This poor guy has also been struck by lightning more times then I can count. 😆
Yeah sounds like you need to stay away from telescopes. But you know, your anecdote about them kidnapping you without you really trying may be due to what is mentioned in the video, where chatting with an alien can cause the 'meter' to run up. I just didn't get to test it.
I also never disguise any of my played aliens, they are allowed to roam as they wish to appear. Some Sims get mad but most end up not caring on the end. Now I have an AI alien sim who tends a few stalls. My female alien sim got abducted not to long ago but was not pregnant after.
One of the best changes in my family legacy was when an abduction happen randomly. I was playing this rich boy from a wealthy family. He didn't have anything interesting going on other than being spoiled and making babies with cute NPCs. So he got pregnant after the abduction (which I thought it was the best karma ever) and end up running away from his household to an Oasis Spring Starter home. He raised his daughter as a single dad, then the daughter grew up to become a scientist in order to reconnect with her people (aliens) and her mom. She never had the chance to meet her mom.
After learning about that meter, I can see this happening. The triggers are so specific. It'd be less likely there would be a drought of the aliens were in disguise around town more often, though, I have to say. That you talk to them and they notice you would be interesting, but I think they're basically non-present without these steps. On Sixam, you aren't missing out much except for some collectibles.
@@CarlsSimGuides I had issues with having the wrong sim getting abducted when they recently made the change to tune down the abductions. I spent one sims entire lifetime trying to contact and getting pregnant by the aliens, and yet his sister was the one who always got abducted instead who had nothing to do with anything.
Great tip! I forgot about those, but that'd be a way to test the meter without using the telescope. If you talk to them and it sets off an abduction it'd be confirmed.
@@CizZy569 It should work with any bar, provided the lot type is actually "Bar". The aliens should show up between 8pm and 2am. However, what I didn't realize when I wrote that original comment is that bar themes were only enabled by the "Get Together" expansion. So you'd actually need both Get Together and Get to Work installed for this to occur.
Aliens have a secret identity, meaning that other sims don't know that your sim is a alien unless you remove your disguise or use your powers in public, I wish that vampires worked in that way too, it's so cool!
I'm glad they nerfed this. When Get to Work first came out Alien abductions happened every night. It got the point where I had to lock my Sims inside the house to keep them from going outside to 'investigate the strange lights'. It was annoying.
For sure! I'd prefer it happen maybe 5% more than it does, but nothing like that. I'd prefer certain things to be actual achievements that you have to seek out. Not laid at your feet, but rather something that takes a little thought at least to get to the end goal.

I seem to have the opposite problem... the aliens are everywhere in my game as NPCs... from bartending in community lots to hanging around the market in the jungle! One time they invited me to a party on sixam... that was pretty cool!
I have the same problem. Back when island living wasnt a thing, I rarely see aliens. But after I installed Island living, the aliens went nuts and I see them everywhere in Sulani. Aliens love beaches 😎
I've had the same thing happen. My sim went to alien night at the bar and now that save is full of them. Maybe going to the bar night spawns a whole bunch of them?
When I first got Get to work Aliens were pretty common I even had a Glitch where a normal Sim was tagged as Alien. Only one Alien still exists in my Main Save.
My sims is scientist and I have the satelite dish, and he got pregnant 6 times. 4 of them are pure alien, and the other 2 is hybird. My vampire alien also get abducted and when the baby born, he had both vampire and alien power! But he didnt have the dark form, but still cool~~ I think its imposible to have half alien-vampire sims, but I got him 😀
One time I just started playing with a family and the dude of the house immediately went outside to investigate the strange light and came back pregnant. I didn't even have time to tell anyone to do anything, as soon as it loaded it happened.
There is another way to get alien babies since Island Living came out. I was doing the 100 baby challenge and every alien the matriarch woohooed gave me the hybrid (alien skin tone only, otherwise human). I decided to change my matriarch into a mermaid at the release of Island Living. She's woohooed one alien and the babies were a alien/mermaid hybrid, but have all the qualities of full aliens (bald, funny voice, pointed ears, human disguise). They are still children, so I don't know what is going to happen when they become teens and turn mermaid. Yes, they are mermaid. The mermaid symbol shows up below the stats bars.
That was due to the mermaid genetics being wonky. The mermaid parent didn't pass along their genes at all, apparently. They fixed in last week's patch.
I have a lots of bugs with the children from a mermaid and a alien, sometimes they are a alien and sometimes a mermaid. The mermaid tail is not there and sometimes if they are a alien if they are not disguised that shape is constantly changing: different clothes, skin, eyes ...

Hi on my Xbox I have had numerous Vampires abducted resulting in full hybrids that have both Vampire & Alien powers I do not have cheats on. Also the Valiens can breed with each other producing new fully charged Valiens.
My sim was viewing an extragalactic growth pod at the spice festival when he got abducted. He was a scientist with high logic and had interacted with a telescope and satellite dish at the research lab. I wasn't looking for this option at all.. it just happened.
I think it may be random. I have a sim that NEVER worked in science and didn't own either the satellite or alien PC. They did have an observatory and all they did from time to time was star gaze. One night they got abducted and was impregnated. This happened on an older patch. I decided to try to do the generation thing with that and sometimes they'd get abducted for no reason.
I’m currently playing The Not So Berry challenge in a tiny home. My male mint sim got married, had twins with his wife, which is hard enough for a tiny home, but now he’s been abducted by aliens and is now pregnant! This is gonna be really difficult haha!
Alien night at the bar is a good start. My scientist got pregnant after his third abduction. After that there were about 20 abductions with no pregnancy. Alien boy grew up, married an alien girl and they had a baby the non abduction way. After that the house went nuts. My scientist who is an older adult got impregnated, but then the Alien boy also was impregnated in a separate abduction. My house is getting very full!
I only had about 80 hours of playtime in Sims 4 before I recently learned of the new world: "Mods" lol. My human was abducted and hated it but when my alien was abducted he had a great reaction to it, he actually had the "Aliens! Awesome" On his focused moodlet, didn't know aliens did that to other aliens
It was so weird one time my sim was in labor and then just like that my male sim was also in labor and having an alien baby I have been staring at my sims for 10 minutes to process what just happend
My poor Sim has been abducted over 15 times now and has never gotten an alien pregnancy - like it's gotten to the point where he gets abducted almost every other day and still hasn't gotten a tummy ache 😭

a small tip for the people who can’t find aliens in their worlds: on Tuesdays it is the Alien evening in the bar and then there are usually several aliens in all bars.
It's not just two full aliens knocking boots that can get a full-blooded alien baby as I discovered today. I had to Sims that were each half-alien who had a kid and that kid (though she came out looking normal), when aged-up into a toddler, is a full alien. It blew my mind because I didn't think that was possible.
My male sim just got abducted by aliens and I did none of these. It was was really random and honestly pissed me off because I don't like alien gameplay. Oh well.

I don’t know why but every single time I get a Sim abducted (except for that one time when my roommate, the Grim Reaper, was abducted) my Sim gets an alien child. Also, if you’re a Vampire or were a Vampire but got out of Vampirism, the baby will become a Vampire. I learned this the hard way... now I have a toddler that was a Vampire born from my Spellcaster Sim after he was abducted by aliens.
My very first experience with Aliens, other than the one i creates for fun, was on the 4 night in the game. I created a male alien, because i just love them so much, and randomly at night while he was watering his plant he got abducted by his own people and he got pregnant. I was honestly laughing at that one.
I recently got the expansion Get to Work and made an Alien sim in the create-a-sim since I didn't think I'd see an abduction ever and then in another save game I moved my one family out of the city and into one of the other neighborhoods and after fiddling around in buy mode and having my female sim play video games she goes out to investigate strange lights! Was neat to see since I don't think any of my sims in previous Sims games ever got abducted

I didn't realise abduction was still a thing in sims 4 until my 100 baby challenge. Two of my kids died from cardiac failure when they aged up to young adult (also didn't know that could happen) and while mourning at their graves in the backyard, the matriarch was abducted. Hey so this basically happened to me now. I had a girlfriend and didn't know she was an alien and I got picked up by aliens. Boom now I am a pregnant dad.
I had a scientist who got abducted so many times that I started sending alien babies back home when I got one in a duplicate color. He was a single father to four alien babies, and holding out for that turquoise baby he always dreamed of. You know, that dude is in one of my unplayed games, and now that I think on it, I should transfer him over to the one I'm playing. I bet those kids would spice up the other children's social lives.
My sim didn't do anything to try to reach out to Aliens, he's a musician and he's logic level is only 1. I am pretty sure he didn't even get abducted, but while I am attending other sims and came back, found him suddenly have abnormal huge belly. At first I thought he gain weights and had him keep working out nonstop... until I searched and found that's from Aliens. Honestly I am really freaked out but so glad I can send the baby away at least!
I never knew about all this male impregnation till i got this surrogacy mod in the perfect same time my male sim got abducted by aliens. I thought it was a bug that it was him who got pregnant. So now i got two babies coming, alien and from surrogate. I got lucky! LOL

I really wish the hybrid babies had powers. I prefer the Sims 3 versions of the alien babies and other things they tried for the this Sims 4 from Sims 3.
I’ve never actually had my sims abducted except today, first time and I did nothing to make it happen, no scientist career, nothing unusual, just in the middle of the night my sim woke up and got abducted. Lol

It’s so weird people don’t run into this. I’ve started playing again recently and in just the last few weeks I’ve had sims get abducted three times. Twice it was the same exact sim.
So hey, I think I can help (a little) without a video. You can't fully get rid of them but you can avoid them spawning in the first place by avoiding those activities.It's about the best that can be done. Avoiding abductions (or reducing the odds at least) would be done by letting time pass without touching alien communications of all kinds, as the abduction meter decays. I really wish we had more customization options, but aliens should be rare because of the tuning. It's why I figured plenty of people don't know about them/how to trigger them. The save file I used for this video has 5 aliens and they're always around, just because they appeared as an "away party" star trek style. The only way I would know of to fully avoid them can be summed up in one word: mods. This would be a simple script type anyone can use and with minimal bugs. Just have to keep it updated on major patches.
So, in my game ive made it a rule to always romance and marry a randomly generated townie, and this time my sim married and had a baby with a random alien. The baby is now a child and i have no clue what i did but the mother just got abducted, and as far as i know, I've done nothing listed in this video to trigger the abduction. I guess i just got really lucky?
To have an full alien baby, you don't need two alien sims/or to have a male sim abducted. My male alien sim and a female hybrid had five sons (not all at once 😂). She was the one who gave birth to them, four of which came out fully alien. I've also found that, in my experiments with aliens, an alien sim and a normal sim will never have a full alien baby while in live mode. However, I was able to experiment with CAS, and found that they can have a full alien child (when they're added to the family that way). Yet again, since going back to try this out, I've found that I can't select both the parents anymore, when I go to mess with genetics. I hope someone out there finds this somewhat helpful 😅, I wish there was more information about aliens out there. They're one of my favourite aspects of the game 😂. P.S To tell whether a baby, with the alien skin tone, is fully alien or a hybrid, make sure the parent gives birth at the hospital. Then head into their inventory and pull out the birth certificate. If it's white, like the ones for normal Sims, it's a hybrid however, if it's dark, with green elements, and glows slightly it's a full alien. 👍

I think it may be random. I have a sim that NEVER worked in science and didn't own either the satellite or alien PC. They did have an observatory and all they did from time to time was star gaze. One night they got abducted and was impregnated. This happened on an older patch. I decided to try to do the generation thing with that and sometimes they'd get abducted for no reason.

I’m currently playing The Not So Berry challenge in a tiny home. My male mint sim got married, had twins with his wife, which is hard enough for a tiny home, but now he’s been abducted by aliens and is now pregnant! This is gonna be really difficult haha!

Alien night at the bar is a good start. My scientist got pregnant after his third abduction. After that there were about 20 abductions with no pregnancy. Alien boy grew up, married an alien girl and they had a baby the non abduction way. After that the house went nuts. My scientist who is an older adult got impregnated, but then the Alien boy also was impregnated in a separate abduction. My house is getting very full!
I only had about 80 hours of playtime in Sims 4 before I recently learned of the new world: "Mods" lol.
I'm 130 hours in now and my husband got abducted, when he came back with that moodlet I figured it was a mistake. Now his character looks 8 months pregnant, I made such a huge mistake and people in the comment section are saying this never happened to them before.

a small tip for the people who can’t find aliens in their worlds: on Tuesdays it is the Alien evening in the bar and then there are usually several aliens in all bars.
It's not just two full aliens knocking boots that can get a full-blooded alien baby as I discovered today. I had to Sims that were each half-alien who had a kid and that kid (though she came out looking normal), when aged-up into a toddler, is a full alien. It blew my mind because I didn't think that was possible.
My male sim just got abducted by aliens and I did none of these. It was was really random and honestly pissed me off because I don't like alien gameplay. Oh well.

I can't explain how LONG I have been trying to get my sim abducted and I really only thought there was only 1 way to get abducted and that was through the satellite but after I watched this video I was already thankful for watching because I learned so new thing about getting abducted but now I'm telling you on the second try my sim was abducted and even came back pregnant. I don’t know why but every single time I get a Sim abducted (except for that one time when my roommate, the Grim Reaper, was abducted) my Sim gets an alien child. Also, if you’re a Vampire or were a Vampire but got out of Vampirism, the baby will become a Vampire. I learned this the hard way... now I have a toddler that was a Vampire born from my Spellcaster Sim after he was abducted by aliens.
My very first experience with Aliens, other than the one i creates for fun, was on the 4 night in the game.
I created a male alien, because i just love them so much, and randomly at night while he was watering his plant he got abducted by his own people and he got pregnant. I was honestly laughing at that one.
I recently got the expansion Get to Work and made an Alien sim in the create-a-sim since I didn't think I'd see an abduction ever and then in another save game I moved my one family out of the city and into one of the other neighborhoods and after fiddling around in buy mode and having my female sim play video games she goes out to investigate strange lights! Was neat to see since I don't think any of my sims in previous Sims games ever got abducted
thank you for this video! i've been trying to have my rebellious teen purposely get pregnant by an alien (her mom saved Strangerville from Mother) but haven't been able to find an alien in my game for awhile. i was unaware of the observatory method & will definitely be using that soon!
I wasn't even trying to make this happen and it happened to my Sim Husband. I decided to keep the baby and raise it as my own. But then my pc crashed and I lost my game by accident. I hope it happens again.

Two of my kids died from cardiac failure when they aged up to young adult (also didn't know that could happen) and while mourning at their graves in the backyard, the matriarch was abducted. You know I found out in sims 4 if you discover an alien and make them angry will get abducted which can sometimes lead to getting pregnant

I had a scientist who got abducted so many times that I started sending alien babies back home when I got one in a duplicate color. He was a single father to four alien babies, and holding out for that turquoise baby he always dreamed of.
You know, that dude is in one of my unplayed games, and now that I think on it, I should transfer him over to the one I'm playing. I bet those kids would spice up the other children's social lives.
My sim didn't do anything to try to reach out to Aliens, he's a musician and he's logic level is only 1. I am pretty sure he didn't even get abducted, but while I am attending other sims and came back, found him suddenly have abnormal huge belly. At first I thought he gain weights and had him keep working out nonstop... until I searched and found that's from Aliens. Honestly I am really freaked out but so glad I can send the baby away at least!

I never knew about all this male impregnation till i got this surrogacy mod in the perfect same time my male sim got abducted by aliens. I thought it was a bug that it was him who got pregnant. So now i got two babies coming, alien and from surrogate. I got lucky! LOL

I used to get so frustrated when my male sim would get abducted every 2-3 nights. It was just as frustrating when Vlad calls your human sims and tries to break in at night.

With no cheats and without even trying, my sim, who isn’t even remotely in the science career, was abducted by aliens completely randomly. She hadn’t even researched anything or talked about aliens either. So crazy.
I really wish the hybrid babies had powers. I prefer the Sims 3 versions of the alien babies and other things they tried for the this Sims 4 from Sims 3.
I’ve never actually had my sims abducted except today, first time and I did nothing to make it happen, no scientist career, nothing unusual, just in the middle of the night my sim woke up and got abducted. Lol
I guess that's what makes this game so popular. Like in real life you can get the same result either by hard work or pure luck.

Talking to aliens get you abducted. One of my sims is friends with one and her husband got abducted after he started talking to him.
It’s so weird people don’t run into this. I’ve started playing again recently and in just the last few weeks I’ve had sims get abducted three times. Twice it was the same exact sim.

So hey, I think I can help (a little) without a video. You can't fully get rid of them but you can avoid them spawning in the first place by avoiding those activities.It's about the best that can be done. Avoiding abductions (or reducing the odds at least) would be done by letting time pass without touching alien communications of all kinds, as the abduction meter decays. I really wish we had more customization options, but aliens should be rare because of the tuning. It's why I figured plenty of people don't know about them/how to trigger them. The save file I used for this video has 5 aliens and they're always around, just because they appeared as an "away party" star trek style.
The only way I would know of to fully avoid them can be summed up in one word: mods. This would be a simple script type anyone can use and with minimal bugs. Just have to keep it updated on major patches.

Lol, one of my aliens got abducted while building a rocket ship
So, in my game ive made it a rule to always romance and marry a randomly generated townie, and this time my sim married and had a baby with a random alien.
The baby is now a child and i have no clue what i did but the mother just got abducted, and as far as i know, I've done nothing listed in this video to trigger the abduction. I guess i just got really lucky?
You need that expansion to get abducted

To have an full alien baby, you don't need two alien sims/or to have a male sim abducted.
My male alien sim and a female hybrid had five sons (not all at once 😂). She was the one who gave birth to them, four of which came out fully alien.
I've also found that, in my experiments with aliens, an alien sim and a normal sim will never have a full alien baby while in live mode. However, I was able to experiment with CAS, and found that they can have a full alien child (when they're added to the family that way). Yet again, since going back to try this out, I've found that I can't select both the parents anymore, when I go to mess with genetics.
I hope someone out there finds this somewhat helpful 😅, I wish there was more information about aliens out there. They're one of my favourite aspects of the game 😂.
P.S To tell whether a baby, with the alien skin tone, is fully alien or a hybrid, make sure the parent gives birth at the hospital. Then head into their inventory and pull out the birth certificate. If it's white, like the ones for normal Sims, it's a hybrid however, if it's dark, with green elements, and glows slightly it's a full alien. 👍
