Hi Monty, your previous videos inspired me to prepare for a trip to Europe for some hunts, but with the social unrest I have postponed my trip and hope for a better future. Thanks for sharing your sport. Regards, Rick
I was going to say, is that mare expecting. I loved my autumn hunting. Those misty mornings and the smell of the earth and horses. But a complete dislike of those tiny wooden bridges. Still give me the willies. Great to see you back out. Look forward to more days behind the field master.
Hello Monty, I had been thinking that there might be a video from you soon, and not disappointed. I will look forward to "riding" vicariously with you again. Also, I have noticed that your presenting skills have been improving over the 2 or 3 years I've been following you. You have always been knowledgeable and informative, and now you're more confident / comfortable when speaking to camera - to us. Really enjoy your channel.
Great to see you back....im not sure of your horses name that was in foal...i hope that went to plan?.looking forward to more of your adventures...and if you still have truffle.x
As a kid when cubbing was at this time of year we rarely went out of a trot. Mostly hanging about and lots of walking so it was part of getting fit. Maybe they should completely change the name and image as its not hunting any more.
Enjoy being back trail hunting via your videos. I actually liked that Carly was kind of slow so I got to see the rest of the field and how field interacts in front of you. Can I ask what a red armband means? I tried looking it up and couldn't find it in all of the obtuse rules found online at different hunting websites.
Good to be back posting - I have a few more videos with Carly coming soon :) The red armband means the field secretary - if you are a visitor or new to trail hunting then the armband signifies who to pay your cap to, they also help with admin and parking etc. on their specific day; there will be one or two out on their designated day :)
That first canter was fun, we got to see more of the field than normal, since everyone was passing Carly. She reminds me of a chunky, taffy coloured wee horse I hunted a few times. Taxi seems to have a low head carriage? There does not seem to be much in front of you when you are riding him?
I live in southwest Oregon. While attending equestrian college in Wyoming, I had the exciting opportunity to ride in an actual fox hunt with a club out of Denver. Colorado. A dream of mine. And yes, the dogs found a fox & off we went! It was fantastic! Good to see you back. I love the fox hunt! ❤
When I watch these videos, it feels like I’m the one riding, thanks for making these 🫶also where’s tonic? He is such a great hunting horse.
❤ Nice to see you back ~ looking forward to seeing how Tonic is after your break from our screens. 😊
Yay-you’re back. Carly is gorgeous-very draft-y looking and seems to have a good head on.
Looking forward to seeing Tonic again.
It's good to see you back! I'm looking forward to more videos and hopefully we'll see good boy Tonic.
