@@johnreidy2804 he's not, it seems. And there is no technique I don't know about. It's Not kage zuki or mawashi zuki. As a 4th kyu I actually do have a certain amount of knowledge about the topic. At least the last one is close to what this guy does.
A 4th kyu arguing with a fake 7th Dan… A 4th kyu brown belt with at most a couple years experience in a McDojo and a fake 7th Dan who most likely isn’t in their required 60s to 70s years old Dans are typically rewarded every 10 years and the 9th and 10th dans are reserved for creators of kata and specially voted in sensei Are you qualified to make criticisms mister 4 kyu? Are you at least 60-70 years old mister 7th dan? If you are then fair play to you Pointless argument though ain’t it Just train Why are people so focused on ego and who’s better than who? Just train and be a better version of yourselves The guy in the vids clearly doing some sort of hook Although he does show a weird flourish/habit with his hand Like a wave, it’s really weird His punch is fine I’m sure it’s a good punch I’m sure his hands are toughened But the wavey habit, well it’s odd but it’s something to work on ain’t it
@@mrmagoo9249 Just saying, but being a Member of the German Karate federation practising Shotokan since 2003 with great lengths of interruption on my part has nothing to to with a McDojo. There is no McDojos in Germany. And IT is Not only Shotokan I did, IT is also German Ju Jutsu, Jiu Jitsu. What has "creating a Kata" to do with getting promoted 9th Dan or Higher? Nothing. These Dangrades are reserved for people that decidated their life to their Art, such as my own teacher, which was promoted 8th Dan by the WKF just a while ago. He's now 75 years old and received a 9th Dan Shotokan a while back already. In Germany you'd need to be 45 years old, to be able to only be promoted 6th Dan, 50 years of age for the 7th. For first Dan you'd need to be at least 16 years old, after that you'd have to wait until you're 18 for the second. Being able to aquire a black belt with 16 is highly criticised by me. For all the others you'd work for 3 years + 1 for any higher one. To be able to get as a first Dan to the fifth, you'd have to train for 15 years.
Karate has hooks, normally I've seen it with a lead back fist into a hook. Both point and knockdown karate have stuff other martial arts have generally applications are different though.
Good work🥋👍
Come on more POWER! OSS!
I also use edge of hand and palm.
You're punching wrong...
No, he's punching correctly for that particular technique which you are obviously not familiar with

Don’t know, never been attacked by tree…
It's not a tree u chump
It’s for conditioning
That's as smart as telling a boxer never been hit by a punching bag.... be smart avoid stupidity
Боксер один удар даст ему и все
El boxeo no es invencible yo se boxeo y karate es depende del peleador
You can have true fighters within any style.
It looks like a boxing punch. This is not karate
Might be just working on staying fluid flexible and while your at it might as well maki those tender paws into anvils
Its karate . Look at heian godan first movement

This is Kyokushin karate they focus heavily on hooks
White belt? Never heard of kage zuki, shita zuki, furi uchi?
