Awesome this should be interesting. WOW Skadi changed her helm, I am truly shocked. At least you didn't show up naked for the first fight which I have done so before.
+FrogRaider1 Yep, I figured it was time for a new style... it takes some getting used to seeing her with a different helmet though. XD
And well, I had some helpful people telling me not to use certain equipment when importing, otherwise I may have been naked as well ;)
Love how Anders’ VA is actually Cullen’s.
Welcome back! :D Have fun with your new companions... and your new skills. And I agree, they made some good improvements for warriors in this extension.

Well! Welcome back. I had a decent holiday. As mentioned, (I think) I don't really celebrate it but I spent a few hours with the family - having fun with nephews and nieces while avoiding the alcoholic side of said family. It was better than being alone, at least. I hope you a good time!
And yes, you can now regain stamina a bit faster. It was possible before by a very small amount on killing blows via death blow in warrior abilities but that requires you to actually deal the killing blow, so yeah, it will be a bit better now ^^
The heavy hitter achivement is given upon dealing 250 damage in one blow, I believe, which your new skill did for you, almost 400 actually if my eyes saw it correctly. It will be listed in your heroic accomplishments in any case. Looking forward to the continuation!
+Zarkhontaal Oh yeah, I had a good time. We don't really celebrate the religious side of the holidays either, like going to church or something, it's mainly an excuse to meet with everyone and have lots of good food. And we basically had 4 days straight of that (I have a huge family, and there are also some birthdays falling inbetween christmas and New Years). But now I'm glad to be back home and play some Dragon Age! XD
Good to see you back, looking forward to following the last couple of adventures with Skadi! And regarding female warriors there will be at least a few more of those coming up later in the two Dragon Age sequals, both games which I feel broaden the horizons a bit in general and are less weighed down by tradition then Origins (which of course on the other hand not everybody think is a good thing).
+eppjones I for one am looking forward to that. But I forgive Origins for its somewhat conservative gender roles because the characters itself weren't that stereotypical, some of them at least. Alistair was a bit of a wimp, while Morrigan was tough and ruthless. And ironically I liked them better then the more conventional characters like Wynne or Oghren. So I'm curious to see what future games have in store for me. :)
+SkadiLP A notable exception to the lack of female warriors in DAO is Ser Cauthrein. Granted she worked for Loghain, but she herself is not a bad person. But I do agree there should have been a female companion that was a warrior!

He looks like Alistair, and it appears to be the same voice actor. And his name starts with "A."
What is he, Alistair's evil twin?
It isn't the same voice actor, though. Anders voice actor in Awakening is Greg Ellis (Cullens VA, wich is probably why they changed his VA in DA2 and kept him for Cullen idk).

+Daily Cardinal I kinda miss the dog... even though I barely ever used him. XD I hope Alistair is taking good care of him!
+SkadiLP The dog in Dragon Age 2 is better as he is summonable and does not use up a party slot.
+Daily Cardinal There is a mod for DAO that does the same thing. I must admit I do use it, as I find it utterly ridiculous that anyone with such a dog would ever not have it with them, from a role play perspective, anyway!
I seriously can't believe that the opening narration just straight up spoils the existance & appearence of the main villains.
