Again with diesel. Can't you guys in Autogefühl test the V90 CC with the T6 AWD engine? And please, choose another color to this model! Every commercial, ads and pictures has the same Osmium gray metallic. I want to see the V90 CC in either Onyx black metallic or the new Denim blue.
Had a V90 D4 Inscription for a year and did 28K miles in her, then swapped jobs and now have a BMW 520 Touring M Sport Plus - I want my Volvo back - brilliant car!
I have a 20-year old Volvo 850 estate. The Volvo V90 Cross Country will be my next car. In my opinon, it looks better than any other brand outside or inside.
My man AJ, You're so sharp now in your presentation. Super congratulations. Love the Volvo but just ordered my 2017 Audi A6 Sline with full spec ( ACC, biturbo, night vision..) Autogefuhl helped so much in my picking of options. I had to go thru many past videos to have it right. especially where Thomas give advice of what not to take.
+Paul B. - Wow - nice spec on your A6 - well done! Yes, Autogefuhl show you the cars in such good detail, and the driving views are so good, you can make up your own mind about the car...
V90 CC Pro Ocean Race. Very accurate review, in my opinion. I love the Ocean Race and the V90 and previously owned Audi Allroad. The V90 CC is a lovely place to be and with all the safety features, owning one is a no brainier, both as a great urban and distance vehicle. I easily get 45mpg local mileage and 53mpg on a run. Best car I have owned.
Note considering the AWD: The V90 Cross Country has flexible All Wheel Drive that is active at all speeds when the vehicle realizes slip at one of the wheels. Usually the vehicle is Front Wheel Drive, on demand the torque is distributed 50/50. The offroad mode closes the clutch disk so that up to a speed of 40 km/h the torque is always distributed to all four wheels.
The location at 15:29 looks stunning, might I ask where was this filmed? Also AJ is steadily improving with presentation skills, feels more natural now.
What a great review from AJ really loving the sophisticated approach :D Also loving the Volvo! What an elegant design language. Interior id like heaven.
Another great video ! I would have one of these if i could afford to, although i have only just bought a XC70 last year, love it. Keep more great Volvo coming.Does the hill decent work on auto now !
Only 4-cylinder engine line-up reminded me of Saab somehow. One of the nicest looking properly designed station wagon. Cabin is very simple with a serene and almost homely atmosphere. Very good review there AJ.
This by far is the best car in this class. The sheer quality, the practically the safety, it offers its simply unbelievable! It is time for the Germans to recalibrate the meaning of the word premium!!!
Great review as usual. I like how you guys always test out the pressure sensors of tailgate. I think one time an E class wagon tried to chop off Thomas' arms! Quick question: Is the optional air suspension on all four wheels? I read somewhere it's only for the rear for loading purposes?
Thinking of buying one of these and your review was first class and as others have said a very relaxing review. Thoroughly enjoyed it and explained many things i wasn't aware of. Do all CC versions have the adaptive damping that you mentioned ? Thanks for a great review.
Overall a solid review AJ.....but please control your inner Italian and keep at least one hand on the steering wheel!! (especially while on a 2 lane motorway). Also to your camera person, please keep the other camera out of the shot when you can. It's really just a distraction. Thanks! Carry on the good work!
I know he's of Indian descent but he was driving like an Italian... Italians speak with their hands, even when they are driving....especially when they are trying to impress a hot woman... ;)
I like how you promote non-animal skin fabrics like leatherette. I personally love leather seats but more manufacturers should offer alternatives for people who don't. You don't need leather to be luxurious anymore.
I think you'll be fine if you just tried to be more relaxed and give us your experience with the car as if you were exploring it and give us your feedback while doing so.
Autogefühl For yourself? What engine? I'm planning on going with D4 AWD or T8 AWD. We get a good tax reduction in Finland for the T8, so leasing prices differ by only like 150-200 euros between those models. Would really like the electric motor in traffic jams, parking and slow pebbled city streets that we have quite much in Helsinki.
Petter Vosveld they have the exact same screens, it's the video compression and anything with computers, leds, computer screens looks strange on film due to the frame rate
Please test the V90 CC with the T6 engine and with different metallic color. Just pick any color but gray metallic. Every commercial, ads and photos, this model is always in grey metallic.
I'm in lovewith this car. I've been driving all sort of Mercedes within the last 27 years, but I seriously consider this V90CC as the next family car. But, I've been warned of loads of problems on the new XC90 and S/V90. Are you familiar with anything?
But you forget, the Range Rover will spend half its life either in the dealership being repaired or dead by the side of the road. Sure its a beautiful car to sit in, but they are supposed to move as well.
Simon White Have you ever seen the Top Gear Bolivia Special episode? It proves that the range rover doesn't breakdown easily and the land cruiser with it's famous reliability breakdown all the time. Jezza was driving the RR, Hammond was driving LC, James was driving a Suzuki, and they were bought with the same price
is it just me or the steearing wheel is of center ? is looks a bit wobbley in the final portion of the review (sliding part) - it is going up and down as if it was oval instead of round or off-center somehow...
Both cars have a great ride for sure. Have you checked both review in full length? They offer extensive guidance. The E-Class offers more choices for seat surfaces (fabric, leatherette, AMG microfibre/leatherette mix), that would be important to me
What happened to the close up shot? You need to review your shooting strategy. What makes you separate from the others, was that the camera would follow Thomas with close up details being shown and mentioned and they can be felt because the details of the cars can be seen. This however is lazy and it makes you just like other car channels. You need that close up shot handheld. Get a camera stabilizer and get the shot for the front grill and tires with follow up shot. The pan shots are lazy and make you ordinary. You can have all the pan shot at the start of the review to give a big picture of the car. The reason why we love the 45 min reviews were because we felt like Thomas was giving a guiding tour of the car with the good, the bad and the solutions to the bad. Telling us how the buttons felt and so on. This however feels Americanized. Thomas, compare your white Mercedes coupe video with this one and you will see the difference. I mean you even found the hanging cables tucked in the back seat. That was amazing. Please reconsider and do some test shot to see how you can bring back the old flavor back. Thank you.
Hm, great that you like our passion for details, but I am not exactly sure what you mean, so you dont want a separate close up while talking but a second shot after the general talking?
+Autogefühl I am saying that you need close up shot when he is pointing out details about the cars like you used to do. Less wide shot and pan during the tour. The beginning can have the wide shots with pan as the introduction of the car. But once he starts showing parts of the car, testing the build quality of the car handle, we want the camera close like you used to do. It's like you are saying "come here I want one show you something". At least that's the way I felt. For instance when he was talking about the grill, the engine, the tire, I couldn't really see what they looked like.
Hi, with the new design style I miss the old rooted design from the old Volvo's. Less cool and more ambient unfortunately. Having a family with three kids I would love to see something bigger hence considering a new Landrover Discovery. More image and stronger performance
I was wondering it too. Honestly i was expecting him to test the V90 CC. I don't mind AJ, but he doesn't explain and show every single detail of the car like Thomas :) And i also wanted Autogefühl to test the T6 AWD.
Afaik he has a great feeling for detail as well and also for technical background as he also got engineering knowledge. Really proud of the whole team!
It sounds that Volvo system is very similar like Mazda s 4 wheel drive system .Mazda s are lighter and 50% cheaper.Volvo is owned by Chines automaker call Zhejiang Geely Holding Group.Volvo will be made in China for 100 euro and sell 75.000 euros.China doesn't have emissions, safety, environmental any standards.Manufacturing in China is base copy and make it cheap=sell to world. Thank you for great video and saving me money.
Captain Carter It's a haldex system, nearly all European carmakers use it. This one is the fifth generation, VW and their friends use this system. ex: New Tiguan, small audis, Skoda, etc.
Volvo´s are and will be primarily built in Sweden, with supplementary factories in Belgium, USA and China. The V90CC are built in Sweden only. Geely Holdings own Volvo, but they are operated, designed and engineered in Sweden. Volvo is not anymore Chinese now then they were American when the were under Ford ownership.
Seems like a nice car but i HATE it when car makers put in those mesh pouches, makes it virtually impossible to store valuable items like iPads or even laptops.
At the back of the front seat for the rear passengers. Sure, i understand that mesh pockets can signal to thiefs that "there is nothing to take here" if they can see that nothing of value is stored in the pockets, but still, i prefer a fully covered pockets.
AJ. There are problems with your test. First, a lot of people interest in Volvo wagon are family man/woman. They are interested in its safty features (which is amazingly rich) and not spinning in the snow. Spinning prove nothing. I can spin any car in snow & even with all season tires. 2nd problem, which most review don't do (except certain owners of certain brand) is snow ice traction on hill, which reflect most daily usage for people in snow belt. Your testing ground setup in going up the snow hill does not prove anything. Snow has traction. It grips. It is snow ice (particularly black ice) that is dangerous and most vehicle with awd fail. You really need to do a start/stop and stop/turn left or right to show the awd system really works. I know, most people think of awd for performance. But for people living in snow belt, awd also help to reduce accident in icy situation. The awd system that work best are from Subaru and Land Rover (the best). But Land Rover quality is notoriously bad.
Gr8 job by AJ and Jonas. Keep supporting them!
Where is Thomas?
I was here: ruclips.net/video/ZQ85Uml3BEY/видео.html
So rest of the crew will cover boring cars :D
I am not a fan boy of Porsche, as it looks hideous by all mean. :) therefore missed that review.
Very good review, one of the best journalists! Great video footage and sound @Autogefühl camera man! Keep up the best car reviews on youtube.
thanks so much!
Had a V90 D4 Inscription for a year and did 28K miles in her, then swapped jobs and now have a BMW 520 Touring M Sport Plus - I want my Volvo back - brilliant car!

The best chanell on youtube about car reviews! Keep it up
thank you so much!
Well done, guys! You are my N1 source for car video reviews.
thanks pal !
The review is great! Also what I love about these, are the in-between short clips and the intro mini movie (0:27 - 0:48)! They are really good!
thanks buddy, keep supporting us and spread the word!
First video of this channel i seen, but i have to say i really like how you describes and explain the car, really informative. Definitaly worth a sub!
thanks so much, keep tuning!
Great review of the Volvo V90 CC, very relaxing and informative to watch....well done...best car channel in the business!
love to hear that. Keep supporting us!
Yes, Autogefuhl show you the cars in such good detail, and the driving views are so good, you can make up your own mind about the car...
take care bro!
bi turbo is an option...?
Quite late, but nice review! Feeling like I'm there with you. Nice info and angles. Love the cross country, dream car :)
Great explanation and elaborate review, i see AJ is evolving! Cheers guys!
thanks m8 !
You guys do really solid reviews. None better, IMO.
thanks m8 keep supporting us!
I have a v90 and if you don't want to use the touch screen you can use your voice to adjust almost everything in the car 😀
Note considering the AWD: The V90 Cross Country has flexible All Wheel Drive that is active at all speeds when the vehicle realizes slip at one of the wheels. Usually the vehicle is Front Wheel Drive, on demand the torque is distributed 50/50. Autogefühl Why can't it be four wheel drive all the time when in off road mode?
Awesomely concise delivery my man - great review 👌🏾
love to hear that spread the word for us !
Fantastic car and very interesting review in a beautiful place. I like AJ's reviews very much. Make more of them.
lol to hear that, we ll deliver!
The best review from you I think.Continue the good job!!!
thanks george !!
Nicely done Ajay! Autogefühl is less "one note" with Thomas and you sharing presentation duties. Keep it up!
appreciate your support!
Car wow cannot hold a candle, to the detail you guys provide... excellent.
Thanks 🙏 please spread the word for us 😊
The location at 15:29 looks stunning, might I ask where was this filmed? Also AJ is steadily improving with presentation skills, feels more natural now.
Austria! Thanks m8 !
What a great review from AJ really loving the sophisticated approach :D Also loving the Volvo! What an elegant design language. Interior id like heaven.
thanks pal !
Very nice camera work, keep it up!
great to have your support!
Great review AJ! Where about are you driving the Volvo?
border region Germany/Austria !
the video quality is mind blowing!!! wow!
Another great video ! I would have one of these if i could afford to, although i have only just bought a XC70 last year, love it. Keep more great Volvo coming.Does the hill decent work on auto now !
My first Volvo was an Amazon, bought in '72.
Still have it...!!!!!
Great review A.J.
great to have your support!
Only 4-cylinder engine line-up reminded me of Saab somehow. One of the nicest looking properly designed station wagon. Cabin is very simple with a serene and almost homely atmosphere.
Very good review there AJ.
thanks, keep supporting us!
Good job AJ! Keep up the good work :)

Aye.. AJ is back... Nice review.. Lets Go..
Isn't the back, similar to skoda Superb's?
yeah !
love you RUclips channel and reviews. from Canada
greetz and thanks!
Great review AJ!:) I think volvo really stepped up with their products in few past years, actually I like them now even more than merc/bmw
thanks !
amazing video. I am truly in love
thanks michel!
A very good premium car, great review!
thanks !
This by far is the best car in this class. The sheer quality, the practically the safety, it offers its simply unbelievable! It is time for the Germans to recalibrate the meaning of the word premium!!!
great review, just bought this car. Great update from my XC70
+SodabrotherNr1 cheers and enjoy!
I am so in love with this car
Very good review, keep it up 👍
thank you!
Great review as usual. I like how you guys always test out the pressure sensors of tailgate. I think one time an E class wagon tried to chop off Thomas' arms!
Quick question: Is the optional air suspension on all four wheels? I read somewhere it's only for the rear for loading purposes?
Yes indeed, Volvo does only offer air suspension for the rear axle with S/V90... to keep the niveau at the same level no matter the loading
Thinking of buying one of these and your review was first class and as others have said a very relaxing review. Thoroughly enjoyed it and explained many things i wasn't aware of. Do all CC versions have the adaptive damping that you mentioned ? Thanks for a great review.
Thanks! I think not, that should be an option
We want more AJ and Jonas please ! ^^
:>
Great job AJ -- excellent presentation and comments about the car. Looking forward to seeing more of your work!
thanks sylvia!
Nice work, AJ.
thansk Erik !
Is it just my impression orr the whole central tunnel shakes while you check how solid the central front armrest is attached??
great job on your review
thanks Raphael!
Nice Reveiws, good job.
appreciated!
Overall a solid review AJ.....but please control your inner Italian and keep at least one hand on the steering wheel!! (especially while on a 2 lane motorway). Autogefuhl used AJ for Ajay, so I did too...
Good review 👍
thanks, hope u subscribed :)
I like how you promote non-animal skin fabrics like leatherette. I personally love leather seats but more manufacturers should offer alternatives for people who don't. You don't need leather to be luxurious anymore.
thanks for your support on that one !
I think non-leather lovers are going to enjoy the premium textile offered on the new RR Velar which is priced equally to leather.
that's right! ruclips.net/video/4Q-MV96Im1I/видео.html
Just bougth this weekend V90 Cross Country D4 Polestar Incription Amazing car.
bravo volvo...what a car..
better than Audi a6 allroad quattro
Great review AJ!
for me your pronunciation is much easier to understand than Tomas
compare to XC90 why should buy V90CC ? the price is almost same
+MyMrwoody thanks pal!
Great review, thanks!
thanks Linus!
Great review thanks. Must say that I have never seen anyone enter the rear of the car they way you did (bum first).
great, keep tuning in! =)
good car, good review, great channel
appreciated simon
nice review, giving Thomas a run for his money!!
Could you guys make an review just as good as on this video on the Audi A6 Allroad now that we seen one of its competitors.
Greetings from Sweden.
I think you'll be fine if you just tried to be more relaxed and give us your experience with the car as if you were exploring it and give us your feedback while doing so.
Stopped watching after ALL-Touchscreen controls.. Hate those things, very distractive during driving.
Still gave thumbs-up because I like the channel
If you have one it is not that distractive at all. It really is nice and thought through.
Great car and a great review.
thank you so much!
Really good video, thank you!
thanks m8 !
31:30; "If you guys know you history, then you know that Volvo was the first company to implement the steering wheel..." 😂
he meant the seat belts of course, I guess that came quite obvious in the context :D
I wonder if we could order the XC with an R grille and badgeless at the back.
I love these cars, would like to see the T6 version on this snow track.
Hey Thomas! When are we going to get the S90 R Design video you promised us in the S90 Inscription video? 😉
+Samir Faraj about to order one :)
Autogefühl For yourself? What engine? I'm planning on going with D4 AWD or T8 AWD. We get a good tax reduction in Finland for the T8, so leasing prices differ by only like 150-200 euros between those models. Would really like the electric motor in traffic jams, parking and slow pebbled city streets that we have quite much in Helsinki.
hehe no I meant for our testing =)
Autogefühl haha, great! Can't wait! 👍🏼
why is the infotainment screen so blurry?? our xc90s screen is a lot sharper...??
Probably because of youtube's compression or something.
Not a torqueconverter auto, it is a dual clutch. And the awd does work over 40 kph. Except that, great review.
The Volvo V90 Cross Country is only available with Geartronic = torque converter. Dual clutch at Volvo is named Powershift
Autogefühl Sorry, but that isnt so any more. Entire 90-series and spa plattform has the same dual cluth. Read up on it or ask Thomas :)
Thomas here. I just re-checked, it's not possible to configure a V90 Cross Country without Geartronic, just check the online configurator

perfect vehicle, thank you for review
you're welcome
I'm in lovewith this car. I've been driving all sort of Mercedes within the last 27 years, but I seriously consider this V90CC as the next family car. But, I've been warned of loads of problems on the new XC90 and S/V90. Are you familiar with anything?
Rui Daniel Amorim Like what problems?
Angus MacGyver I've heard about engine failure. Sudden stops. Don't know details.
i personally think that the volvo v90 cc is the second best car volvo makes at the moment, close to the volvo v60 polestar
I'll take this over a Range Rover.
coffeeblak86 hell nah!
This is dependable. I will take range rover over this if I live in snow belt, which I am, and I can afford the maintenance fee of range rover.
But you forget, the Range Rover will spend half its life either in the dealership being repaired or dead by the side of the road. Sure its a beautiful car to sit in, but they are supposed to move as well.
That is absolutely true. LR reliability (& infamous cost of maintenance) is as fragile as a piece of glass hitting a concrete floor.
Excellent review, though @ 31:28 what were other car companies using before Volvo invented the steering wheel? :-)
haha, he meant the seatbelt :D
LOL @ the seat belt! :D
is it just me or the steearing wheel is of center ? is looks a bit wobbley in the final portion of the review (sliding part) - it is going up and down as if it was oval instead of round or off-center somehow...
Dear Autogefuhl!
What to chose between Volvo v90 cross country or mercedes e class E220D , as both goes to almost same price after configuration!
Both cars have a great ride for sure. Have you checked both review in full length? They offer extensive guidance. The E-Class offers more choices for seat surfaces (fabric, leatherette, AMG microfibre/leatherette mix), that would be important to me
ON the configuration Site it says you can't have Heads up
and heated Windows at the Same time..
Wow he speaks good English! 👌😊
da english master!

👏👏👍VOLVO IS ELEGANT
Love it but I want an electric option in the US and will get one once they have the dual out there.
could you do a Review about the New 2017 mercedes cla 45 amg
Did you shoot the review in Sweden?
Austria actually
I didn't seee the complete video before commenting. ;-)
When you quote prices in euros is that before or after taxes?
In Europe always including VAT, US without VAT, thats why prices in the US always appear cheaper
What a car!
Any other cars similar to this?
A6 Allroad, E-Class All-Terrain
Where is Thomas? He is the best

Nice looking vehicle. Not sure why you might buy a wagon ("estate ") when you could get a taller SUV.
