Runners gear up for first annual Meck Mile

Set up was underway for the Meck Mile on Friday. It's the first annual event in Charlotte and will happen at the American Legion Memorial Stadium on 7th Street near Elizabeth.
Organizers said hundreds of runners have signed up and it's only a one-mile race with dozens of heats.
Miller Yoho with Charlotte Sports Network said he's excited for a race first of its kind in the Queen City.
There are runners of all ages signed up, from one year old to 87 years old.
