It's not about winning or losing a marathon it's about having fun and finishing! There shouldn't be an issue if a fellow Racer helps an opponent to the finish line!
If both ladies involved are good with it, god bless. After all, it's all about commitment and personal growth, right? Moreover, Arianna came in second. Hardly a devastating loss I'd say. I would bet; however, Adrianna will have gained more from her selfless act than any plastic trophy gathering dust on the shelf would ever give her. She is being true to who she is, a winner. Good on you, young lady. I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict Adrianna will spend a great deal of her time in the winner's circle of life.
Adrianna was competing in the Relay Team category so even if Self had crossed the line second to Adrianna, she would still have won the individual category
that dr chandler is so selfish at some point she really grab d finish line at d expense of d real winner. And ita just for herself only. If she has a good heart, she would give it to d real winner. That teen girl is way more charitable than dt old doctor
Ariana was the winner. The other lady was so selfish. The way how this race was finished showed that a lot of people in this world don't deserve the help at all.
Some of you lot who are commenting here shows how selfish you are. If you came across someone who is in pain you all would probably just go past them like you are blind. She did what she can to help she is just a teen and there is many more race she can take part in. How very very selfish😒😒😒
No. You're wrong. The lady who fell down did NOT even say THANK YOU. SIMPLE WORD FOR HUMAN DECENCY. You obviously know this selfish woman who won by default. Get over it.
She is NOT the winner, you cannot win if you do so with physical assistance. You took the win from her. It's unfair to next one to cross the Finnish line. Are there no longer rules?
I read entire USTAF rule on “Assistance” (#144) and no where in that rule is a statement that one official runner aiding another results in a disqualification of the runner being assisted. So yes, Dr. Self is the winner.
Wow you are dumb. 1.She didn't take the win from her because they were not in the same race. They high schooler waa doing a relay. It says so in the 2. The high schooler was doing a relay which means she didn't run the entire time. 3. She was so far ahead of everyone, she would have been able to win the rest crawling. She didn't need help. The high school was encouraging her the entire time. 4. You made your the rule about physical assistance because you are a liar. 5. You act like did something that was morally offensive. Her legs gave out. She was in pain. It wasn't her fault. She was already going to win. The girl helped her.
Love you, the girl who helped that girl.

Great kid!
THATS A TRULLY CHAMPION ..I WOULDED DONE THE SAME THING
Why does this seem to happen in every women's marathon?

What does this have to do with the price of chicken salad?
Dia kalah.. tetapi dia pemenangnya..
dia kalah,, semangat dia tidak mengalah,, dia pemenangnya,,,, bagus....
I hate this video! The girl helped, I thought the woman in red was going to let the girl in blue cross first.

Most of the last half of the video discusses that in fine detail. A nice tip: watch videos before commenting on them.
