Too bad you don’t have a nice, cozy waiting lounge you could use instead of freezing in a snowy parking lot. Oh wait - you DO! LOL Can’t wait to pick up our Walt this summer (thanks to Austin for getting us started!).
I am getting mine in mid May! Can't wait to meet all of you CRAZY peoples!! Are the slide door and back doors insulated and covered like the rest of the van? I hope!!
I just bought a 2014 Promaster 159wb and I'm really excited about your builds!! I will be doing more research before I contact you but wanted to make sure I can do a Goal Zero same day I get a Walt put in if I order it in advance? Also do you install the swivel front seats?
Hello! That's great that you found your trusty van. We actually have the 1500 Goal Zero Yetis here at the shop, if you are interested we can have one ready the day you arrive. We unfortunately do not install after market swivel seats but many of our Wayfarians have installed them after the fact.
SUGGESTION : Seriously think about adding a two-bed setup for your vans . You are missing out at a growing demographic of van buyers / travel partners : Two people who travel together on vacations ; But are Not spouses , Not lovers ; Not bf/gf . They can simply be : Parent and adult child , two males or two females who are best friends but who are "straight" , two people who are friends thru work ,etc etc
I don't work for them.. but have been looking at their design for our use and like them. They already sell a lower bunk option (so 2 full-size beds to sleep 2+2). For just 2 singles they sell wheel well boxes and with that + the boot boxes; so if you get some RV twin mattresses (72x25) to cover them, you can have 2 twin beds (It probably would be a good idea if they showed that config on the site and sold the pads to go with it; they might even have the pads from the Wally model).
You should have a list of Wayfarer van owners in other parts of the country that are open to showcase their conversions if someone from farther away wants to check it out. I am an east coaster that did a DIY Wally conversion and would be glad to show it off to someone who was interested but couldn't get out to CO or NV to see it at your shop.
Hey you guys, we are sitting in Roatan, Honduras waiting to get back to the States for our first 6 week road trip in Nike our new Walter build. One question, were your guys secretly smoking during the video, I kept seeing smoke come out of your mouths. Hardly recognize you, Austin, without a beard! Long live Wayfarers
Does your van hunting partner help find used vans or only new? Thank you!
Can your kits work on the Ford E Transit?
I think the prices are increased since this video.

Very true, we have one but wouldn't be as much fun! ;) See you this summer!
How do I make one of your vans cold weather comfortable?
Air conditioning?! What choices, other than the engine a/c
Currently, we offer one or two 10-speed vent fans. We've got an A/C option in the prototype phase - stay tuned for more info 👀
😅 Hi guys! Love the video content and emoji comedy! 😉
Thank you Jess! Keep an eye out for more Q&A's in the future!

Long bed ford transit?
Hi Mark, we would love to help out with your question. What about the long bed Ford Transit do you have a question about?

Will you build an interior shower?

Great idea!! Once I get mine done I would love to show it off.
Is there a rear seat option with belt ?

That's awesome Terry, You guys are going to have a blast I am sure! No, no coming just the side effects of talking outside in 6 degree weather lol!
How much do your conversions weigh? For example the Ram Promaster, 136 " wheel base.
Hi Ian and Austin! I’m loving my Wally conversion! 💕 From beautiful San Diego, CA 💕
Great to hear Rita! Keep the adventure alive!
