I speak POTHOHARI and I believe it's a dialect of Punjabi. I find it strange that for a culture that takes a lot of cultural pride, younger generations are losing their unique languages (Pakistan is multi ethnic) in placement for Urdu (which is not native) and English.
Urdu is in fact native because it is a combination of most of the local languages, heavily impacted by Persian and Arabic.
