Beautiful new machine and what a great first project :) loved seeing you use your bodice block to fit the teeny pattern. I like the final dress, I think the extra length gives it great movement!
The dates given for Singer serial numbers are when the block of serial numbers was assigned to that machine model. So, your machine was made after that date. Perhaps a few days later, but in some cases for low production models as long as couple years.
Omg I have the Singer 185J, which is the 3/4 size of this machine, and it is honestly my favorite machine I have ever used. I haven't seen anyone else using this before! I also sew barefoot and the pedal hurts my foot too. I actually turned it around so its backwards and use my toes instead, if that's helpful for you. I hope you love your *new* sewing machine! the dress turned out super cute! :)
I would never have guessed you were that tall! Warning: I have never liked showing my knees, and recently, having skirts that show the middle of my shin bone has been too much. Super cute dress . Love the length.
It’s always funny to learn RUclipsrs hight. I always imagine people being as tall as me but most of the time they are 5’4. Like I didn’t know you were just a lil guy😆
The name for the new sewing machine should be Minerva!!! Also, I love your channel. You are extremely likable and very relatable to me. I always look forward to your videos, and even watch when it looks like it might not be something I am particularly interested in.
The dress is cute, but definitely shows that it was designed in the 70's... 😅 I would be looking up scottish singers/songstresses and name the machine after one of them. Bonus points for if they were active when the machine was made. Both my machines are vintage and named after actresses. My Husqvarna Automatic from around 1960 is named Elisewbeth Tailor. My Singer 66K from the 1920's is named Greta Garderob (the swedish word for wardrobe). Yes I know the wordplay is terrible, it's on purpose. 😁
You are sewing on my sewing machine!!!! I'm so excited to see it used. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! Name her The Elven Queen. Becacause she's green.
@@ladyanniebelleyou could mount the current pedal on the side of the machine to use as a knee pedal, (mine has a clip on the side to store the pedal, but I haven't tried to use it that way yet) or check to see what replacement pedals are available at your local sewing machine repair place or online. Hope these help.
I'm so glad I found your channel.........crazy fun to start my day....... and Beatrice, a name that was going out by the 70's but still around. The Rouching (sp) turned out great and the sleeve length is what gives it that 'mom' quality......... great job! New sub!!!
aahhh i'm sorry, i really liked the dress pattern but didn't have the means to see the actual sizing on the pic when you put the poll up so 🙊 Also yeh the dragon age devs were saying they wanted to have more of that inter-character interactions so its not just all about you the main character, the others have a life xD Sadly i don't have the game. AAhhh the dress is so cute tho~! :D
In Inquisition if you don't romance Josephine, Blackwall pursues a courtly romance with her. If you don't romance Bull and Dorian and take them out a bunch they romance each other. Sera gets with... Dagna I believe?
@@ladyanniebelle I think you have to meet certain criteria to be able for it to happen, and I think the dagna-sera thing happens in a DLC? Also; Lucanis and Neve can get together if unromanced, iirc OH and I meant to say.... but I also put this elsewhere by mistake lmao... Would lifting your chair help with the pedal angle at all? Is there a way you can anchor it somewhere further back or even against a vertical surface? If I had the same pedal problem texturally and couldn't replace it with another, I'd have to cover the pedal with gel shoe inserts and something comfy because I can't not sew with a pedal! I hate using my hands for anything but manipulating material.
Does the machine (another vote for Ethel but Julep is also cute!) have the kind of foot pedal that unplugs? If so, you could buy a replacement that you find more comfortable. I had to replace my vintage sewing machine's pedal because it had a nasty habit of overheating. It cost like $17 and just involved unplugging the old one and plugging the new one in.
Beatrice ❤ I love the green 😊 if I had space in my house this would dangerously cause me to want to collect fun colored vintage sewing machines!
I like Beatrice!
And babe, me too!! You know how many treadle machines I’ve had to pass up at estate sales😭 One day…
Beautiful new machine and what a great first project :) loved seeing you use your bodice block to fit the teeny pattern. I like the final dress, I think the extra length gives it great movement!
the dress is so cute! and the hair and pearls complete the look
Looks retro cute!
My mom had a 1970s Kenmore withe the button attachment. I could never get that thing to work! So glad when I inherited my grandmother Bernina.
If it won’t for RUclips I wouldn’t have been able to use it either. Thank gawd for RUclips university
I love how this turned out. It fits you really well.back then ther wore slips.
I think the name of the machine should be Hazel. She is sleek and green!! Love her! Love the new hair colors! The dress is cute!
Its the perfect length, i love it ❤️ x

That makes sense! Thank you for sharing😊

Oh! I’m going to try turn the pedal around. I do like the machine a lot so I hope your trick works🥰
I love my Kenmore button hole maker on my machine. I think i just enjoy watching it move and i don't have to do anything lol
😆 you’re a mad woman but I respect
@ladyanniebelle i take that as a compliment. I do a lot of mad things 😊
The dress turned out so beautiful!
So cute!
Name her “Julep” because she’s mint
That’s cute!
Dress is cute, I like the sleeve length.
I love the little sewing machine, I say her name should be Gertrude, or Gertie for short.
Gertrude is good!
Looks great! I like the knees not showing!!
I like how your blouse matches the colour of the sewing machine. Any Katy Keane characters have a petite green vibe to name it after?
Morag or Jeannie for the scottish singer machine.
Oh a Scottish name for the Scottish lassie, I like that idea!
It looks cute and comfy. For the sheerness, you can either fully line it or wear a slip.
The dress came out so nice ❤
I would never have guessed you were that tall!

No sewing related, but, I love how your hair looks now ❤

I 2nd Julep, short for mint julep. I'm a bit late lol but I love that suggestion. Myrtle is a close 2nd for me too though.
December 1974…I was in my first year of university & that pattern looks familiar. I may have had it…
Her Mint Majesty, Maura.
The dress is cute, but definitely shows that it was designed in the 70's... 😅

Myrtle…she is adorable…
I love this! Myrtle is green!
You could name your new sewing machine Betty!! Keep it in the Archie family.
You are sewing on my sewing machine!!!! I'm so excited to see it used. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! Name her The Elven Queen. Becacause she's green.
😂 call her EQ for short
@ladyanniebelle and you can replace the foot petal!❤
Wait what?!? How? Share your witchcraft please
@ladyanniebelle just check with your local sewing machine repair shop. Or look online for Singer sewing machine parts.

The off smell may be old oil. Once the new oil has flushed through, it may well dissipate.
That makes sense, it didn’t smell anymore after using it a while. Thanks🥰
I also don't like having both knees out, lol. I love a slit, but above-the-knee? Absolutely not for me
Use the front of your foot on the paddle and it not hit wierd under the foot. Heel on floor and front of foot on paddle.

You’re the second vote for Beatrice, I don’t hate
And welcome🥰
She's an older lady born in Scotland: Bonnie! (For the record, I'm talking about the sewing machine, not Annie 😂)
Hey now! 😆
I like the idea of giving her a Scottish name!

ahahaha no worries! I'm just being dramatic, very out of character for me I know😏
and thank you🥰
I love your hoodie! Where did you get it?
redsreferences-shop.fourthwall.com/
My buddy Justine @redsferences designed it. It's so freaking soft I haven't taken it off
Ethel for a sewing machine name!
Neve and Lucanis are dating in mine!
😱 how cute! I think I need to start a replay now🤔
great vid!!
in dragon age: inquisition, Iron Bull and Dorian can date each other. unsure about the rest!
What?!? I played that game at least twice and somehow didn’t trigger that😔
In Inquisition if you don't romance Josephine, Blackwall pursues a courtly romance with her. If you don't romance Bull and Dorian and take them out a bunch they romance each other. Sera gets with... Dagna I believe?
That’s crazy! I played Inquisition at least twice and somehow never triggered the companion romances😤 (at least not that I remember)

Hello Ms 10k subs
That was a wild ride!
Heeeeeyyyyyyy🥰
Audrey.

She looks like a Susan.
