On August 23rd about 10.30p.m. Australian time it was distressing to see a mother with 3 cubs & the cubs were playing with a plastic bag with something inside. The comments were off on the LIVE FEED so I couldn't comment at the time. Please check the site for PLASTIC rubbish.
Bears and other animals are losing their habitat as a result of human greediness. I would suggest bears and other wild animals build a fence to protect their habitat.
So *t h i s* is what wild, fresh caught salmon is all about...Seriously, this footage is ABSOLUTELY thrilling..I'm literally FASCINATED by Nature & wild animals, & I could watch the bear & the birds all afternoon...I'm wondering if there are wolves in the area as well??? Wow. This is awesome. I just got back from Alaska, we saw 7 bears on Icy Straight point nature hike. It was awesome, but they said the bears there are very skinny for this time of year, not enough rain to make the salmon go upstream. I hope it's better now. It's amazing the stamina and their ability to hang onto those slippery rocks to catch those fish.
I visited the falls in 1996 and got to see Panda the famous bear that caught fish while standing on the falls. There was also a bear named Diver that was so fat. Estimated to weight 1500 lbs. Was a privileged to have seen & photographed them. Great video. Thanks.
Panda @ 8:40: Amazing. He had such a unique stance on the falls and always in the same place. They made a film about him and called him the King bear. Though it was near the end of his life.
