What a great selling point, having Aldo Rey, Broderick Crawford and Jack Palance (three well known tough guys, who weren't sweet) sell Canada Dry. 2:20 - from the issue of Sept. 30, 1978
3:40 - maybe the most famous unmarried couple from tv
5:08 - There used to be Winn-Dixies both in the TN city where I was a teen & the city where I live now, but it's hard to find one outside of FL now.
11:45 - That THREE'S COMPANY promo is so old (Episode is 1 of 6 from S1) it was still using the hummed theme song from the pilots.

Always look forward to your vids coming across my feed. Those K-tel and the Ronco albums were nice, but 1 drawback. They shortened the songs more than the on-air versions the radio played. You never payed attention to the amount of songs on a record until you started listening and realized how much they were shortened. No wonder they fit 16, 18, or 20 songs on 1 record...P.S. Being Canadian I loved the Canada Dry commercial. Jack Palance..... another favorite actor

I would guess it was her appearance on the Morecambe and Wise Christmas Special around 76-77 when she danced in a split skirt evening dress is what thread was referring to. I’ve seen that skit many times. It’s quite funny, and she is indeed very sexy. In the 1980’s she work for a TV station in Boston, MA for a short while before returning to the UK.
