I love how the castle represents the state of his mind. In the beginning, when everything is new and exciting, the castle is pristine and vibrant with empty, unexplored places. Only for the walls to later darken and decay and for the spaces to fill up with the shadows of haunting memories, twisting the castle somehow into something unfamiliar and unsettling. Paired with the song, it reminded me of a music box for some reason. Everytime you wind it up, you wind back time. But are you really going back in time? Or just replaying something that already happened over and over? Good job! Loved it!

I know I speak for the entirety of your fanbase when I say this: your collabs w/Winks are like sugar. No, they *are* sugar. You get some and love it way too much for anything in this entire universe and every other universe to handle. So you get more and more. And the more you have, the more you want because it's SO FREAKING GOOD AND YOU CAN NEVER GET ENOUGH. And you know it's not healthy for you to have this much amazing stuff, but you can't help but keep wanting more and more and it starts to become unhealthily good. Dude I’m so excited, I’ve been desperately wanting more Karl/TFTSMP songs and I absolutely adore music box-esque melodies, this is going to be so epic. I resisted the urge to listen to the song on Spotify to wait for the animatic because I know it’s gonna make me c r y Edit: THE ENDING BEING REVERSED WAS SO CLEVER
I really like the glitch effect on the music and the somewhat mystical feeling! It's like walking without a destination in mind but knowing that it will be magical all the same! See you in the premier! Edit: This is better than even what I was expecting! The colour palette matches really well with the theme and I especially liked the ending and the scene where the colours start to darken?
This actually gives me an interesting idea. Whose to say that the White Castle is a physical place? Could it be the form of Karl's mind palace instead? It could be possible that the stories he experiences are visions that he has, and he is just not ready to process the interconnectedness and meaning behind them yet, so they fade from his accessible memory. He writes the general outline of the stories in his books in person, but all the info is hidden in his mind, waiting for the right time for him to be ready to accept them and use them effectively. It gives me vibes of BBC's Sherlock's mind palace, and Harry Potter's fanon use of occlumency, while the hidden memories distance themselves from Karl's consciousness. I couldn't say if it is an outside force doing so, or him protecting himself, or a version of him protecting himself. I've got no idea, but a fun thought experiment!
I love the frame from 2:05. He looks at himself like he isn't scared of a different version of them, he looks more concerned for them. The drawings and the lyrics throughout the video work perfectly together. Always excited to see yalls' work :D

I've been coming back to this song the past few days because I absolutely love the piano and honestly everything about the music, it gave me the old JRPG vibe of Ib, Mad Father and The Witch's House which is very cool! I love how it is unsettling in someway!

woahhhhhhhhh i love the piano it gives it this this fairytale vibe that works perfectly with his lore!! also the harmonies were fantastic as always. the reverse effect things (idk what they're called lol) at the end are such a cool effect!

I've been coming back to this song the past few days because I absolutely love the piano and honestly everything about the music, it gave me the old JRPG vibe of Ib, Mad Father and The Witch's House which is very cool! I love how it is unsettling in someway!
