I'd be down for that. How'd he go from boxing to ruthless criminal? What was Japan like post-war, just as the economy was starting to get on its feet and American soldiers were still all over? That could actually be a really interesting game.
This must've been so weird for him to see. Like imagine someone faithfully recreates the city you grew up in and put in a video game you can play, and also you're in the game too but not playing as yourself
Funnily enough, he actually would have been able to look up if anyone guiding him had remembered that the game does have a first-person button. It's very easy to forget it's even there though, especially since they were likely more concerned with the limited time they had with Ozawa-san.
Next time, on Kuze's Yakuza Adventure, we hunt down Mr. Shakedown for all his cash so doing 500k baseball is a breeze and continue the search for a cabaret club!
You made my day better, thank you! Keep the posts up, this channel is a GEM. I've been trying to find more of Hidenari's interviews, if you know any!!!
2:46 500万円 is 5 million yen though. 万 equals to 10K. 500 times 10k is 5 million. However, the rest of the translation is pretty okay. Glad to see people doing this.
No he say pro-wrestler Pro-wrestler is pronounced "pro-wrestler'' in Japan as well. This is called a loan word and is used by Japanese people on a daily basis as a Japanese katakana word rather than an English word. They're not trying to speak English, they're using it as katakana Japanese. Producer is also pronounced as producer in Japanese. It's the same thing as foreigners using sushi or karate with strange pronunciations.
Foreigners don't know about loan word katakana and mistakenly assume that Japanese people are trying to speak English. Most of the time when foreigners make fun of "japanese engrish", it's a misunderstanding. They are just using Japanese katakana, not trying to speak English.
Hitoshi Ozawa is exactly like my dad and my mom when I let them play something like Yakuza or GTA lol If my dad's still around and I let him play Yakuza, I would be like "Dad, you have to progress the story a little bit to unlock more things" and he'd be like "Nah, let me beat up this man and spend money on telephone club and video shop."
I sound like a child but watching older people try to play video games is honestly always painful He kept looking for the cabaret and I kept shouting at the screen "OPEN THE MAP AND FIND IT 😭" It also shows on the mini map which place is accessible but no one bothered telling him
Might be a dumb question but I’ll ask anyway. For all of the Yakuza games including the original ones before the remastered and all of the spin offs. Did any of them do motion or face capture? If not how did they get the faces so perfect? Asking because I’ve heard a few people say yes some say no. Also I’ve only been playing the series since the shut down orders back at the peek of the Covid 19 pandemic.
My guess would be > facial capture of the model for the voice actors > facial capture of cutscenes by rgg employees Then they rig the cutscene facial capture onto the model faces.
However they did it, is just amazing. If I still had my ps 2 and ps 3 I would buy the entire original ones. Luckily Xbox has the remastered versions, 0 both Judgement and Lost Judgement and Inshin Like A Dragon. I just wish they’d make a remastered version of Dead Souls and it’d be on Xbox. Even that one seems fun to play. What I love about the series even a “bad”, Yakuza game or spinoff is still better than most games I ever played. Also the fact that in almost every game there’s an Amon to find and beat.
I like how the game seems to have captured that era of Japan well enough that Kuze's va can reminisce lol
They probably asked the actors what it was like, thus, having a accurate 80s japan experience
Man, watching the old geezer in such a nostalgic state makes me wish I could put him back in 1988 for a night. I'm sure he'd have a blast
Oh no! Well anyways.. *decides to laugh seeing the word old geezer why the fuck am i r3ading oh no the 3 AAAAH*
Fun fact , he's only 3 years older than takaya kuroda (kiryu)
My headcanon is we fight Kuze so often because he was in truth looking for Mr Shakedown all the time and Kiryu was just in his way
1:06 So what i'm hearing is we need another prequel where you play as Kuze in the 70's.
That would be fun as hell.
Kuze shaking down young Kazama for lunch money in high school. :D
I'd be down for that. How'd he go from boxing to ruthless criminal? What was Japan like post-war, just as the economy was starting to get on its feet and American soldiers were still all over? That could actually be a really interesting game.
We need Young Arakawa and Kazama game but also includes other 3 dojima lieutenants
YAKUZE refference ZAMN
This must've been so weird for him to see. Like imagine someone faithfully recreates the city you grew up in and put in a video game you can play, and also you're in the game too but not playing as yourself
''It's probably easier beat Kuze for money'' that made me laugh and also so true
Kuze is actually a nice guy
Ozawa is such a treasure.
Funnily enough, he actually would have been able to look up if anyone guiding him had remembered that the game does have a first-person button. It's very easy to forget it's even there though, especially since they were likely more concerned with the limited time they had with Ozawa-san.
I love Ozawa down to earth nature and a having a fun time playing and understanding the game.
I love this guy please don’t stop making these vids
More on the way 😎
@@dragonenterprise THANK YOU I CANT GET ENOUGH OF THESE!!!!
@@dragonenterprisewhat happened?

"They really wrote that shit in Katakana" 😂

"Imagine if I bought the game, just to hunt for Mr. Shakedown"
Endgame players and people after unlocking DoD be like
Love these, thanks for the work translating them :)

I loved these videos man, where did you go? I miss you.
i look forward to meeting and talking to fellow seiyuu's I'm learning Japanese and i feel happy stumbling upon this gem
The legend is here
W upload
i love how he subtly roasts sega every once in a while
Keep up the good work
3:48 he spoke English for a sec
No he say pro-wrestler

It's wild that he immediately knew where the bowling alley would be located once he saw theater square.
Where did bro go ?
I love Kuze So much❤
Bro is a real ladies man. First thought is to go to the cabaret club 😅
Hitoshi Ozawa is exactly like my dad and my mom when I let them play something like Yakuza or GTA lol

"What if the video becomes me chasing Mr Shakedown?" is exactly what I needed kuze to say
I wish this continue
Ozawa-san and the team along with the translator found Egashira and got snapped in half, it seems
Hey Kiryu!
I'm not here to fight this time.
Mind helping me hunt down Mr.ShakeDown?
My new headcanon Substory for Kuze 😌😌
why did you stop posting?
I want to see him do the 2nd Kuze boss fight! It's the most iconic fight in the game.
3:47 No, He said "pro wrestler".
What happened to the pop team epic conversation between Hidenari Ugaki and Takaya Kuroda?
5 million yen for a batting cage!?
Kuze gaming
え?中学生の頃から歌舞伎町に?
トー横キッズでもこんなに立派になった人もおるんやな
I wish they had told him how to use the look button.
KUZEEEEE
What's up man. How about to translate Gaiden cast?
I would listen Ozawa-san talking about his memories of Japan during the 80s all day.
bro, just release Bad City in the US already.
Did really ozawa cut of his pinky?
No I'm pretty sure he hasnt lmao
@@dragonenterprise oh ok! I guess it was just doing a reference because of that kuze scene, i was kinda worried when he did that tho
