I really appreciate videos like these. Skilled gameplay that is within reach of the average gamer, as opposed to a flawless speed run. Makes me want to try the LS out instead of concluding it's too difficult.

I'm definitely thinking about trying out the Longsword after watching this video.
I really recommend LS, this is my third day playing with it and I fell in love with it since my first hunt. I watched two guides, wrote down all the combos and spent like 20 minutes in the training room practicing, at first it was a bit overwhelming, but I kept trying and after I learned the essential combos I went and hunted KT with randoms (yes, I went all out lol) and I love it, it is so fluid, rewarding and satisfying I didn't think I was gonna like it this much. I spent all night hunting KT and today I managed to solo her in 12 minutes in my second try.
I now have no doubts why it is the most popular weapon in the game. I was a GS main but I think LS is gonna take that place, it is much more satisfying in my opinion.
I’ve mastered dual blades, long sword and insect glaive. I really try to help my teammates especially when they're down, but nobody heals except me. It’s really annoying how I was almost able to solo kulve with dual blades once, but then I got killed by her lava. Also, i see that dual blades takes a little longer to get through phases than long sword imo. For insect glaive, I get all 3 extracts, charge up my kinsect with slinger ammo, but then I just keep getting hit by her roll attack. Tried pretty much everything, but I’ll get there soon.
@@randomuserjusthere4930 Yeah I feel you that lava attack is so crazy, you'll definitely get there. And how do you find dual blades? I've been interested in trying them out, I use Bow as well and dual blades looks so fun

That was awesome, the way you broke her horns on stage 2 dude... I managed to kill her solo well could not get those damn horns despite hitting them for a lot of damage with sns' perfect rush.

Yo DG not sure if you've learned by now but if you tenderize her chest then slam her into the wall it breaks her chest immediately

Tip: If you soften Kulve’s arms and chest and flinch shot her twice, you’ll instantly break all 4 parts

Dear Gamer, you can actually shoot bomb pods into her mouth when she’s charging up a fire attack, and it’s a guaranteed stagger!

I've tried soloing her for over 15 tries and I still can't get past the first phase

i tried soloing her 54 times using sticky but she still escapes on phase 4

is it just me or is the first phase the hardest phase whenever I try to solo kulve 10% of the time i fail and 90% of that 10% is because she ran in phase 1
Yeah she is rather squishy. I hit a gs true charged slash for 2.5 k on the chipped horns

It is annoying when you drag Kulve to the final area and 99% of the time she escapes. I’ve only killed her once out of countless attempts. Man she’s something...
Ok, so first stage, break min 4 parts to proceed to the next stage. You got to have part breaker maxed. You have 7 minutes before she escapes. Easy parts to break, chest (left and right) and gold shell near the hips, arms are bit trickier.
It's not based on part breaks. She has hp thresholds to move from area to area. At 70% health she moves to area 2, and moves to area 3 at 40%.
@@thehat8006 - I realized, I still haven't managed to beat her solo. I get to the last area and that's where I always fail.
Bro try ice Safi LS on her. I am doing 250 per tick on her horns with Safi ice on Helm splitter. That's with out PP.

Temporal is a crutch, and Glider Mantle is the ultimate passive Mantle + free 2 level 4 slots that are basically permanent due to its recharge time
I have no idea how anyone do this kind of damage with Longsword - stack attack+ or?
Venom I got up to 300 without peak skill. She’s really squishy without her gold dress
With 2 attack 4+ and crit 4+ you can also do that much dmg

I don’t get the point of using Glider against Kulve tbh
he is using it for the mantles up-time, since it can fit 2 level 4 decos, and it has the fastest recovery time he can benefit off of the decorations on glider mantle.
