One thing I noticed is if you clutch claw to her chest or arm when she breathes on the ground you take no damage it's good in case she pulls it at the wrong time and you need a quick escape from impending doom, and for heavy weapons it's the perfect opportunity to tenderize

Kulve has changed the elemental meta. Their weapons have thebsame amount of elemental as safi's at the very very beginning. After thatbit changed because it has built in crit element and has custom weapon augment attributes like the pre and bone slap on ones to upgrade attack, elem, affinity, defense etc. Dont sleep on kulves new weapons. You can combine the elm with namiells or safis max set if you really wanna see how far it can go too.
As a great sword user elements don't mean too much to me. I'm gonna stick with my Raging Brachy great sword for now. Her armour has a ton of crit boost tho.

I hate this new Kulve with a burning passion. Reason 1: Why give us 50 minutes if she just leaves after 20 anyway? Reason 2: I understand the whole reason behind not doing pursuit levels anymore, but there have been so many times where I swear after 5 more hits I would have killed her, and she flees. Now I have to start all over again. Reason 3: Why do her fire attacks do so much damage? I have 15 fire defense normally and heat guard, I shouldn’t get two shot by her beams (I also have over 1000 base defense and health boost level 3). Reason 4: No one I team up with can actually hunt this thing. People keep dying due to the most simple attacks because they don’t care about their health........Reason 5: The rock in area 3 is horrible. When you hit it, it’s good, but when you don’t, which can happen very often if she’s not right under it, you’ve lost a huge dps opportunity. Final Reason: On the final area, she just spams that one attack where all the gold drips from the ceiling, so you can’t hit her. She also chains an attack immediately after it, so pray to the Monster Hunter Gods you don’t get hit. She keeps doing that attack so you ant hit her, so she just runs away with not a small portion of health left.

I still fight Kulve like I used to, I use a thunder base longsword while she is covered in gold (using Demonlord with destroyer decos on build), then I return to camp and get ice based longsword after her gold armor is broken.

Dear Gamer also, if your wondering why you are getting massive hit values. MR Kulve has 50k health solo. And 100k health in a 4 person group. So they make your weapons do way more increased damage to balance it out. I did a spirit helm on her head today and I did 265 per tick. I was amazed at the damage. Then I saw her health pool.
You can meld weapons not at the melder instead of doing the seige. I farmed her probably 200+ hours when she first came out last year to finally get the 1 lbg I wanted. Never did the AT version because I was sick of her. After doing the quest I went to the melder since AT Kulve had a new lbg I never got and after 6-7 melds I got it. Use the high rank parts for this and keep the master parts for upgrades and armor.
I have been training also against every elder dragon solo and even with a team MR Kulve Taroth still be downing me. Still killed her 3 times tho luckily.
@ㅤㅤ try using a lbg, it shreads her. Safi bolt for first stage and the ice one after the mantle is broken. 4 piece Silver Los(try to get it on your weapon if possible along with elemental up 3) and you're doing 200-250 a shot at first, 300-400 after her mantle glows red and with ice I'd say you're in the 250-350 range depending on how you hit her.
Dang DG, those first and last faints was sad. Nothing you can do about it but stand and watch your health faint away. You should eat for Feline Safeguard, it gives you an extra faint for fights like this. As a lbg main this Kulve is a great match up. RF elemental ammo shreads through her health. I had a similar faint where she hit me to the ground and it didn't matter if I got up or tried to stay down because I was toast either way. Though overall its a kinda disappointing add on. Few of her weapons are useful and her armor looks great but doesn't have the best set bonus or skills for most players. Good luck next time.
This fight took me 5 tries 2 times she run 2 times i died and failed and the last one is a big win no cart but my health items are all gone hahaha gonna fight her again that was so much fun!

You're welcome. If you rock this fully levelled, you'll never cart again. Also make sure you have both Health Boost lv 3 and Evade Extender lv 3. There's nothing worse than a baddie who can't dodge a Nergi dive or a Safi laser. No excuses Scrubs. Just bad builds everywhere. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

Not sure if you know or not but you can fadeslash anywhere in your spirit combo and you only have to do 3 swings instead of 4 to level your meter up
