Outstanding. I could watch him for hours.
I just hope my surgeon didn't graduate on a sob story.😂
😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
@@fisherman9435it's funny how it never occurs to people that you can become a doctor without getting straight A's. 😂
@@crct2004: I always have asked my physicians about their ranking in their graduating classes. Yeah, I know, but I was valedictorian, and I don't want some slacker wielding a scalpel anywhere near my cerebrum nor my gonads.
@@fisherman9435why should your doctor be the smartest? He or she certainly isn't getting the smartest patient.
That's cold! 😄 He's right about the sob stories, though.
Yep!
My friend made it to the 3rd audition to So You Think You Can Dance Canada. (You needed 3 auditions before you have the chance to be audition in front of the celeb judges).
After the 3rd audition, they drilled him with questions about his past with family, schooling, housing etc.
And after waiting several hours, he was told he couldn’t advance because he didn’t have a “strong backstory”.
@@cheesesteakphilly for 'reality' shows the first was a contest to find a new mtv vj but the winner, an unintelligible 'homeless' kid, rigged the system with an autocaller setup by a pr firm. though, required backstories and personalities have been used virtually always... you couldn't get on game shows if they didn't think their was an audience, even just one for the sideshow. (see actual sides shows, too.)
@@cheesesteakphillyI believe it. It’s messed up, though.
I'm with you, what a load of crap those sad stories are. 👍
My dad and his friends referred to The Rolling Stones as the rolling uglies when they first came out.
Ha!
10/10. Would watch again. Love the humor with a touch of sarcasm.
Really refreshing watching comedy that isn't filled with vulgarity just to make the joke land.
😂😂😂 His voices 😂😂😂
Love this guy, so relatable. 😂
His stuffs are quite original, good show
Love his timing! I get a kick out of his story telling, too. So does he! Which is charming.
1000% accurate, a gifted singer can draw from a well of sorrow (nothing seasons like the salt of tears) but does it make your version of Hallelujah and/or Amazing Grace any better than the other 50 contestants with "traumatic" upbringings? Also I like how he channels *Sam Kinison* with the screaming
What a natural! This guy is really good! Great content, great timing, smooth... a clear pro!
Smart and funny !
I mean, he's not wrong though. I hate it too when I'm watching a competition show and EVERY audition starts out with a sob story. "Thats great and all but can you sing/dance?"
Comedy aside, I'm glad somebody said it.
Did anybody else hear the Sam Kinison inspired yelling? I absolutely loved it.
He is so on point...why those stories? I hate it.
When Milli Vanilli got busted as only being good looking dancers, I was honestly angry that they didn't let the real singers make more songs.
Same in the legal system. A murderer growing up in a broken family gets more sympathy than his dead victim who grew up in a family with both parents and as a straight A student. We as a society love to find excuses for criminals.
No, only leftists do.
This guy KILLS!
"Chad knows risotto" LOL!
3:13 You know what the voice is also used for Danny? 🤔TELLING STORIES!!! 😳😳
Awesome!
I've even seen ugly stand-up comedians!😅
Pretty darn funny!
That was absolute gold
So true it's funny😂
Thanks!
That's why I don't support corporate radio. Only pretty people get to be stars. So many not so pretty people have amazing talent.
Wait..........radio?
@@fisherman9435actually, radio sounds quite good if a person knows what they're doing when they set up their system.
The fact that you have 💩 for brains is blazingly obvious here.
@@jacquelinewalters2706😂
AGT... sad story equals 4 yes's!...
He's great
1000% true.
If I may impose a thought upon those who'll read this after the video, along the lines of what Danny Bevins has said here: Imagine if Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was a judge of one of these talent shows, and asked "What's your sob story?" to contestants....
"IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOUR SOB STORY IS!!!!"....
...would kill me, every time.
Finally someone who agrees with me about the sob stories, I am not gonna vote for for you just because you’re got a sad story. I need to see the talent.
Wow...I... really like this guy
I can't sing, but I can fix computers.
The best comedy is true comedey.
You nailed it!😂😂😂👏👏👏👏👏👏
This audience gave him nothing! That’s was genuinely funny!
Hahaahahhaaha he is hilarious!!
Funny guy
Quality comedy, sir 👌
👏👏👏👏👏👏
I meannn… shirts gotta be cleaned 😂
He looks a lot like Joe Pesci. Love his comedy, he is really funny.
Wait, did Bob win? The mob doesn't play.
Finally, someone says what I've been thinking for years about these shows. AGT has many non-Americans competing, and people with the saddest sympathy story ge thru, it isn't about tallent it's about sympathy.
The best act was a clown named "Puddles Pity Party" who was mocking the whole show, and they didn't even see it.
The irony is, they voted him through!
First of all: Susan is not bad looking. She is 60+ years old and personally I think she looks younger. She has beautiful thick hair, perfect teeth, a warm and genuine welcoming smile. Insulting her appearance is seriously uncalled for.
I want to hear their voice, not their emo story!
Are used to love all of the got talent shows in the American idol and the voice and all that stuff… But I stopped watching a couple years ago. It stopped being about the talent that people had, and all about how sad their life story was. This is comedy, yes, but it’s also the truth. I may be missed a couple winners as I haven’t really kept up but in my opinion, Darci Lynne was the last winner of any talent show that we get broadcast here in the states, that one on pure talent rather than sob story.
people like rooting for the underdog, that's why they all have sob stories.
he's 100% right though, that's why i don't watch those shows anymore.
A one hit wonder. My absolute favorite Dry Bar video, and I love a lot of Dry Bar videos! Just about every day. But this is all we get of him. Wish there was more!
I watched that video four times. My single favorite Dry Bar Comedy video. And I'm confident I've watched them all, some many times! I laughed sooo hard. Awesome man!
5:18 He does a great Sam Kinison impression without knowing that he's impersonating him 😆 🤣 😂
I agree one hundred percent.😊
Meatloaf, RIP, wasn't much of a looker either, but man, he had a set of pipes on him. It always cracked me up seeing the beautiful people going on American Idol thinking their looks would guarantee them a spot deep into the gig, and they ended up bombing because they sounded like doodoo 😂
Sam Kinison is back.
They need to eliminate those sad stories!
This guy is hilarious 😂
Don't like the abusive "ugly" thing, it's ugly.
You have to be born w/ a certain quality of voice or you won't be able to refine it into a nice singing voice.
I knew AGT was all about sob stories.
I like chopped too...lol
Funny stuff
Danny is definitely one of the funniest dude, I heard in a while. 😂😂😂
Perfect summary of us humans.... I bow to thee...
The AGT joke! Priceless!
The Filipino family..😂 mabuhay! ✌️
My ex wife and I used to joke about the "sad story curse" on Chopped. If you spouted some sad story you almost never won. Like as soon as someone started talkin about their mom with cancer we were like "uh oh, they're not gonna win"
Everyone has their own tastes. If this type of humor doesn’t appeal to you or offends you, then DON’T WATCH AND MOVE ON!!
This man has Sam Kinnison's scream.
That was my exact thought too!
Danny , Very funny, I loved it🤣
Jimmy V.
He's funny, but I hate when commedians do that woman impression voice that just sounds so dumb and makes it feel awkward..
I stopped watching AGT when I noticed that people with real talent weren't getting put through if they didn't have a sob story.
It’s so true 😂😂😂😂. You can’t help it though. It makes you want to root for the underdog. A lot of them do have talent though
HAHAHAHAHAHA wow I laughed so hard… you are so good hahaha!
It's so funny cos your right ..more than right BULLSEYE
Glad to see you back!
I hear a lot of fascist rhetoric so I hope everybody knows what a fascist is.
Phenomenal ender
Id love to see more!
@ 5:20 Sam Kenison is that you?
with your "voice", you can sing and tell stories...
He could perhaps work on the Nana's joke a bit more.
Same line, Kevin same line 😅😅😅😅😅😅
KD Lang comes to mind.
Lyle Lovett....
Danny Bevin is working on the assumption that we all think he is good looking... He looks and acts like he can sing 😂😂😂
Looks like a troll doll 😂 that's so mean
😂😂. 😂😂😂😂😂
There seems to be a hyeana in the crowd.
“Finally-a MERITOCRACY!”
The Uk needs a break ngl🤣🤣
Awesome.
Thanks
Thanks!
Thanks!
Always with the risotto.
Why? It's not even a delicious dish.
Hahahahaa
Dude's trying to channel Sam Kinison.
The whole reason to watch "sob story" is at least my life is not as bad as THAT guys life.
You don't understand.
