Vauxhall Corsa D Boot Won’t Open (Secret Lever Revealed)

- Problem: Vauxhall Corsa D boot won’t open from the outside.
Solution: There’s a secret lever that gets you back in.
To find the lever in this video, we:
• fold the rear seats flat: Vauxhall Corsa D
• remove the parcel shelf
• climb into the boot (this is awkward)
• inspect the boot lock: Vauxhall Corsa D.

All this time and at last you reveal your Corsa repair kit, I have similar as a "smart" phone repair kit. 😁
Naturally, GT85 and gaffer tape are the only things in my repair kit. 😁
@@CarSpyTV I actually used someone else's GT85 today rather than mine on other people's jobs and tools, I've given cans away to neighbours then when I go to jobs for them and/or use their tools, their cans aren't hand so I use my diminishing stock! 😆
Great video!!! This is very useful for the Corsa community. I had to do a similar video for my BMW F20, I was surprised that there was no proper lever. I had to use a small pointy thing to help me gain access lol. Keep up the great work

You are a star. I thought I knew my 2011 183,790 miles pizza delivery corsa d 1.2 inside and out. I never knew about that safety catch. The fuse in the glove compartment is ok, so I'm guessing it's the wiring loom at the hinge that has broken or the lock mechanism. I will test it with a multi meter. Thank you for your awesome advice again. Keep up the great content.

Hello. If the boot won't open consistently, I'd start by cleaning and lubricating the mechanism. This has solved such issues for me in the past. Glad the video helped.

Hi there im looking for some advise please, my daughter has a 2011 vauxhall corsa D the issue she has is the passenger door wont lock via keyfob or key, the driver and boot doors work as they should,
When you press the door lock on the dashboard the driver and boot lock but not the passenger door, do you have any idea what might be at fault?

Tricky to be sure without seeing the car.
However, the possibilities include a broken door catch/lock or power not getting to the mechanism.
If the former, you can get a replacement part on eBay for a modest price. Good luck.
When i press and hold the unlock button on the keyfob both front door windows come down so there is power to that circuit, but i take it the central locking is on a different circuit?
It could be a broken wire in the door loom. The opening and closing over time can cause the wires to break
