Love this lure! I limited out yesterday on rainbows. I just ordered 2 each in patterns that will work on my home lake. Great quality and action. The hooks are strong and sharp. These are superior in every way compared to rapalas!
Not if you take proper care of the fish, pinch your barbs, and use a net but you have a good point and I am mostly fly fishing rivers these days for that very reason

When we try this in Ireland, pike end up biting the line. And then when you put a trace on, the trout get spooked. 😢
Oh bummer! That is true trout can be super spooky in some waters and this method won’t work well.
Gonna have to give those a try. Probably work great for smallmouth too.
I’m sure they would kill it in the creeks where you live! You do make me want to fish more soft plastics though considering how well you do on those.
