    Very pretty just did not get a sense of the actual flowers and names. It needed more close up views or inserts. The views were too far away on some things. Thanks for showing your garden.

    I just recently subscribed to your channel. You have beautiful gardens. I like how you name all the plants since I am kind of a new gardener. I especially like when you show closeups of the plants so that I can see them better.

    Awesome is the only word I can think of at the moment. Your garden is absolutely gorgeous. In the wet areas near the fountain.....Siberian Iris may work. Your attention to detail is spot on.. i am challenged to tear out my grass area in the back yard and start a garden...but on a smaller scale. I have water irrigation in the area....but I detest grass.... kudos to you........job well done.

    A bientôt,

    I'm so excited to see the greenhouse go up! I want one made out of windows like what you're talking about doing so bad, but we have as many outbuildings already that our neighborhood allows for zoning. So instead, I've chosen to add a sunroom to our house several years into the future. I'll live vicariously thru you on the window greenhouse. Your gardens still looks stunning. Have a wonderful weekend. 💗🌸🌿🌼

      Oh, that’s too bad! But a sunroom sounds amazing! We thought about that, ourselves, but the back of our house is shaded from our house lol so basically it wouldn’t be sunny! I will be sure to share lots of pictures of videos! I hope it turns out as sweet as it is pictured in my mind!💗🌸💗💗

    I have been swapping my Hostas for heuchera ( coral bells) they come in so many beautiful colours from burgundy to chartreuse. The deer don’t bother them and They overwinter well. I live in Woodstock, New Brunswick, about 15 minutes from Houlton, Maine. Your gardens are beautiful, congratulations on the new green house. Look forward to seeing it come to fruition.

    Around your little fountain, in the wet zone - full sun, I would try Calla Lily. The plain white ones get too big. But the ones with green leaves with white speckles and pink flowers stay short enough to make the area look lush. For me they come up late. After the soil hits 70 degrees, mid July - first frost. Other wet spot plants I like are blue berries. So long as they are within reach. Such a nice change from popping cherry tomatoes in my mouth in August.

    Your garden is absolutely beyond beautiful! I just don’t understand what it is about red that some gardeners don’t like. I guess it’s a matter of preference. I didn’t like yellow and orange in my garden but now I do. I have lots if sunflowers at the moment all throughout my garden and I love the pop of color!

    • @clarkcottagegardens
      @clarkcottagegardens  8 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you! I actually do you like red and orange and all the colors in other people’s gardens! I think it’s just a matter of choosing a palette and sticking to it, so that it looks pretty and cohesive! Sunflowers are adorable! My plan was to grow them, but I didn’t get to it. Lol.

That one is so pretty. it's much smaller with delicate small flowers, The foliage looks nice all summer. I also wonder if lillies like wet soil?

      Hi! It certainly can get quite large and then it gets messy and floppy. I divide it every year so it doesn’t get out of control! I cut it down to about 3 inches tall and then divide it from there. It is amazing how large it looks until you cut it down like that!
