Thanks for the excellent videos Horst, it is very enjoyable tasting along with you, I often agree with your findings, sometimes not - but I never buy a new whisky without first checking your review. Keep up the great work - and more background stories, always very interesting.
Enjoyed your review thoroughly. I visited Glengoyne distillery earlier this year and bought their 12 and 18 year bottles. 18 year is a bit intense for me, but this, this 12 year is just wonderful.
First time of trying this today. Nice light whisky. Didn't taste coconut, but a lovely spicy taste with citrus and hints of toffee in the finish. I'm a great fan of the Islay malts, but I would certainly recommend the Glengoyne 12 year old to someone just starting their exploration of malts.
tonight a whiskey tasting with friends. I myself have been taking the GlenGoyne for 12 years. I'm curious what they will think of it. I am very impressed by it myself
I have a bottle of the 18 year old in my cabinet and havent opened it yet i've had it for ages too. I wish i didn't watch this review because i'm now extremely close to opening it lol. nice one Horst!
This is my first bottle of single malt whiskey which I bought while in Scotland this summer (2018). It was pretty disappointing to me when I first opened and tried it - tasted like soap. But now having tasted it few times it starts to really grow on me. The notes I’m getting now are of citrus and a little bit of caramel. Hope this dram will last me till the end of 2019.
I love this old guy. I just want to have a drink with him. That's my bucket list.
Life is too short for bad alcohol - Agree.
I love this distillery. The 21 & 25 year bottlings are magnificent.
