+Rogue Ze Legacy I want to see a movie about the flood sterilization of a major Human city. The whole city has been separated from the rest of the planet, and the few who are let in don’t return. When squads are sent in, they are not allowed to communicate with the outside for whatever reason. The streets are completely empty and there is green-sickly fog everywhere. It's really scary how just in a matter of probably hours the flood infected the entire station. Keep in mind this is the covenant capital city with 100s of millions of people, civilians and military personnel alike.
Y'know, after seeing how they pretty much sterilized and lit up the environments in H1A for Flood levels, I was worried how they'd handle the Flood in H2A. Needless to say, I wasn't disappointed with how they fixed that issue.
Spooky stuff. I'm surprised Bungie missed out on having a campaign akin to ODST set on High Charity during the beginning of the Great Schism to it's downfall at the hands of the Flood. There are so many opportunities whether you could play as the lesser known Halo 3 co-op Elites slashing/shooting their way out from one of the towers to the lower districts. Heck, you could even having a stealth mission as a Grunt having to avoid starving Jackals, Brutes and Flood lol.

343 Guilty Spark used to be the scariest Halo mission but it’s started to shift towards Gravemind H2 in recent years. Don’t get me wrong 343 Guilty Spark is amazing at the horror but there’s something just so creepy about this mission in particular
I think it stemmed from the need to hurry to the objective, the dead silence in several areas, little to no visibility, virtually infinite flood spawning from any place imaginable (God help you if you're playing on Legendary and one spawns with a Sniper Rifle), and the Covenant architecture being taking over by disgusting flood growths the more you progress in the mission that you felt it was being done in real time. I did wish we'd get more of it though. Halo 3's flood infested levels weren't all that spooky though, unfortunately. Maybe beyond the occasional Cortana/Gravemind jumpscare the first time around.
According to Halopedia, High Charity was about 348 kilometers in diameter. While it isn't sun-sized, you still wouldn't want it anywhere near your solar system.
Cortana is still scary, the problem was the lighting, it was too bright in most areas. Floodgate in halo 3 was definitely the scary level in that game, especially with the dark atmosphere.
@@joshualighttime604 , Cortana was still scarier in my opinion. In Floodgate you are always accompanied by marines and Arbiter until you enter the ship. Now if you say Cortana is the scariest mission in Halo... Just look at 343 Guilty Spark mission.
