Yo, this is bloody brilliant. Me n my folks have been talking about doing one of our own. Basing it off of the seance room. Care to give us tips on Leota and the audio? I think we can handle the other details.
So cool!!!! I'm jealous. I have some similar stuff and I'm planning on doing the busts next year but I'm not quite sure which "youtube" diy to go with. Can you give some insight on how you did yours. I mean specifically the busts. I'm good on projections. Again, your yard looks amazing!!!!
So I looked at many different options. I tried using a foam mannequin head shaped for the projection and it still looked off. So I had some extra foam board and projected on it and it looked perfect. Also, from about twenty feet away, at night, you can’t even tell. So I projected onto the foam and outlined it and then cut it. I added a base to each foam cut out and placed them on small columns I purchase from hobby lobby. I also, spray painted the edges of the foam cut outs blackand then lightly sprayed the entire cut out with flat cement colored paint. Hope this helps.
I used two laptops running two separate videos with exactly the same timerate and soundtrack. However, I muted one video so the sound wouldn’t have that echo. Also, ran both videos on VLC with a continuous loop. Started both videos at the exact same time.
Well done! Leota and singing statues are spot on!
Really wonderful set-up! Great job

The vast majority was homemade.
How is the show synchronized so that the different videos run in sequence?
