I hate joy con drift
Try pressing B and R buttons at the same time. It’s really useful not only for killing all the Mantas but also to clean up a bunch. The downside is that you lose water quickly doing it and you’ll have to refill FLUDD often.
@@MrDuck797 That is what I Did to beat the Manta Storm Boss and it was Definitely Easier.

I understand that the Lily Pad stage and the dumb boat can easily result in seemingly inevitable death...but the vast majority of these deaths presented are chalked up to bad play or quite frankly dumb decisions and actions that don't make sense such as not diving or ground pounding when high up, not using Hover when available or willingly tackling red coin challenges without F.L.U.D.D. Some are indeed hilarious, but some are just dumb and things that nobody should be doing--particularly #73. You are never intended to even reach Petey. That's why the inflatable pigs are nearby, but F.L.U.D.D's spray alone can reach and wake him up. Jumping far out of bounds into a death zone is of course only going to result in a death....the game isn't "janky" because you (...metaphorical *you*) chose to make a dumb move.
Well Newcomers usually are the ones encountering most of these deaths because bad decisions and confusion!

Something I never really understood is why does Mario just die when he loses a race or runs out of time on a challenge? I'd understand why he would die if he failed to escape from a burning building, but that scenario has never happened in any Mario game I've played.
