Awesome live stream! Thank you for all you do! Happy, Happy Birthday! Hope it’s a great one!!! Enjoy and have fun!!! 🎊🎂🎉🎁🍦👏🐶
Thanks so much
Just now getting to watch this episode and have comment about reason for Bake feature.
Bake can be helpful if you want to preprocess each piece before printing.
As a test, I created a softball roster with name, position, throws and bats. Using Bake, based on each girls position, I was able to pull in an image of a softball player representing their position (pitcher, catcher, infield, outfield). You have to manually ctrl-z back and keep track of start and end positions, but this allowed me to further customize the piece based on values within the csv before printing. Hope that makes sense.
Hi just started watching last nights live stream happy birthday 👍
Hey, thanks
Also, CSV is just an extension. You can even use Notepad and just make sure you save the file as [filename].csv it should work. Just make sure that each line has the same number of values, separated by a comma. Also, make sure there are no commas in the values themselves.
You can choose to add the header values or not.
that's an educational video, thanks Steve for the info
and have a very happy birthday🎂🍺I was born on 4/7/1969
Glad you enjoyed it
I can see using the bake function on numbers in an array that do not change, such as on a wasteboard grid instead of typing in the numbers manually.
Happy Birthday 🎉
In regards to a middle initial. If you have an empty cell in your cover file, it should not put a space in the middle initial spot unless there is a space in that field.
Maybe it shouldn't, but it does.
I came in late on the stream but I saw that you saw no reason for bake... I wish I could have asked why are we harping so much on BAKE... LOL
Variable Text, Cut Setting
Try this
L
C 00 C00,S,P
C 02 C02,S,P
You can also use this
L
'Layer,' C 00 C00,S,P
'Layer,' C 02 C02,S,P
Thanks, we finally figured it out at the end. That's what I love about working with a community. We fumbled and bumbled until we found the right outcome.
csv comma separated values
