I find using cuticle oil and hand cream helps my nails grow faster. Especially after washing hands. I never realised how dry my hands were before and I think it made my nails brittle which ended prone to tearing and not growing out much.
My nail tech was very good (and expensive, so I had to quit going unfortunately). But I might have been lucky because there are a lot of shitty salons out there. Mine never touched my natural nails, she always made sure there was a buffer coat between the nail & what needed to be filed off. Thank you for your tips on taking care of your own nails, I can definitely use some now! ♥️
Omg that's actually so rare! I loveee that she cared for your natural nails (I've had my fair share of crappy salons lol), but it'll be so rewarding caring for them yourself. No problem at all. I'm glad you enjoyed my video and I wish you the best with your nail care💗
I don't wear polish, I find it strips the nails and dries them out. Taking Zinc has helped to strengthen them and they grow very long, don't file them to often. Also filing in the right direction is *VERY IMPORTANT* side note leave your nails alone and let them be
Neither do i cus i usualy make them unevnen / not the best looking (im a perfectionist ) and end up ising my theeth to scrape of the nailpolish and ends up with me starting to bite my nails uncontiosly again😢
Wow awesome! And I love your name! So feminine and classy! 🥰 I’ve been growing out my nails since I was 13 so yes there are ways to save them without cutting them all down. I think you outlined this very well! I hate having broken nails because nail polish remover weakens the patch but yea oiling your nails and slowing down is a must! Thank you so much for the video! 😘❤️
Omg you’re so kind, thank you so much!😋 Yup you know the deal! Haha I hate that the nail polish remover does that but there’s always a cost to being a gorgeous, gorgeous girl lol. I really appreciate your comment💗
Actually picking or biting your cuticles can cause your nails to grow out deformed because of the damage done to the nail under the cuticle. So theres ur sign to stop picking your cuticles!
Sally Hansen is amazing I really like there strengthening base and top coat. I keep getting asked if I have gel polish on because the top coat makes my nails super shiny and it’s just regular polish haha 😆
@@bluehaze6729 so, I actually don’t remove my cuticles because cutting them too deep can make you susceptible to infection but I can show you how to very carefully remove just the slightest bit if that’s what you’re wanting to do 😊
My nails were so short that there wasn't even a white part on them and it's been like 4 days of using jojoba oil and a vitamin c moisturiser and they will probably be past my finger by next week so it definitely helped me😊
thank you, Isabel! I really hope you find a good nail care routine, whether that's mine someone else's or your own, to help you grow beautiful nails that'll match your beautiful hair and skin 😋💗
My nails were breaking a load no matter how many of my old nail strength remedies and they were so short and kept breaking so i was looking for an affordable nail strengthener it was Essie hard to resist glow something it’s amazing my nails healed and grew back in days also the kiss cuticle oil is a good strengthener it has jojoba oil and smells great if I put inside my nails back it grows really nice then after a few days I took the polish off and pushed my cuticles gently and cut any hangnails then I gave them a nice shape and finished with a lemon honey water salt olive oil and/or coconut oil they grew real big quickly and it was hydrating then after 2 days I put the polish back on
OMG, you are adorable. After my last few trips to the salon have been so soul wrenchingly Disappointing, I’ve decided to start learning to care for my nails myself. And so I thank the algorithm gods because you are too adorable. #NewSubie
I’ve bought two glass nail files and both have broken I didn’t drop them and I wasn’t rough using them I would file one way at a time and they keep breaking🙄
SO many people don't know THIS... BUT the living skin tissue at the bottom of the nail is NOT the CUTICLE...that is called something else...the cuticle is the sticky white stuff left on the nail after you push that living skin tissue back...NEVER CUT, just push back gently...thus, there are cuticle remover creams and gels to loosen and soften the cuticle so it can be removed from the nail. You do want to remove the cuticle because it will interfere with the adhesion of what you put on your nail...polish, dip, etc. I will let you look up what that living skin tissue is called...lol...It's got a great, funky name!
Yes, that’s what I use. The cute pink bottle haha. I’m posting my nail care routine early tomorrow morning if you’d like to watch and see exactly what I do to maintain my nails 😋
Hi, your welcome!😋 omg I’m so happy you asked! So, I LOVE Sally Hansen’s plant based nail polish (vegan). My favorite color is called “pink cloud” number 200 and it’s sheer. I pair that will their plant based top coat, number 101, and I’m literally set for almost a week and half before they start chipping. The color will dull out a bit, it’s expected, but it’s amazing how long it goes without chipping if you take your time and do a good job painting them. Sally Hansen’s plant based line is my absolute favorite. Let me know if you do end up trying it!🤍
@@tashewilson Thank you so much!! I really appreciate this and I shall definitely be giving that range a try. I may wait until after Christmas now incase Santa may bring some if I mention it loud enough 😂😂😂. Thanks again big hugs from across the old pond 🇬🇧
Woah, from tip to cuticle? That’s intense but seems like that might just be the nature of that nail. I would honestly keep a protective acrylic coat over that nail.

Don’t roughen your nail bed with an electric nail file or use dehydrator. Use a softer grit nail buffing tool to make your nail bed a tiny bit rough or just dry your nail with a little bit of alcohol then do your dip process as usual. They might not last as long but that wasn’t a problem for me.
Hello 👋🏽 How’s it going I really really love your page ! I’m keep king nails as well, it’s getting discomforting so I’d like to sell them Is there anyone you might know?
It's so frustrating when a few fingers nails grow faster than the rest. That's been happening to me lately 😩
HAHAHAHA same!!!! It’s so frustrating but when that happens to me, I just make sure to file those nails first and a little shorter than the others🥹
😭same and I always want them to grow together
Literally my entire left hand is taller then my right side lmaoo
Just trust the process 😂
