1950: 656 at bats, 28 home runs, 12 strikeouts. He had 175 double plays as a catcher! And in all those power Yankee teams, with DiMaggio and Mantle and the rest, Yogi led the team in RBIs 7 years in a row. A truly amazing player.

Only 12 strikeouts in 656 plate appearances. Incredible! He put the bat on the ball, hitting for power and average.

A world series ring for each finger. Yogi's got more bling than ganster rappers or hip hop performers gold teeth and gold chains included. Yogi earned respect by talent and performance not talentless hype.

The story behind that fork in the road saying was in the directions to his house. There was a fork, and either way led to his house.

He would not even be considered for signing today. All the teams want to see prototype players. I wish I would have had the chance to play back then, could of been in the majors.
