They had ample time to check his room for anything incriminating, and access to their security video too. They were there for show, and to lead him to say he was wearing different clothing and not to stray from that story. Who knows what else they covered up in the past even if not a heinous as a murder?

I hate that the mother only got 1 month for what she did. Why even bother charging her if she doesn’t get a real sentence? She ONLY confessed because she got caught. Seems like a lack of integrity runs in that family.

114 stab wounds? That is much more than overkill he literally hated her and wanted to make sure she was dead. His parents especially the mom should be ashamed. As a mother how do you not understand wanting to find out who murdered your child. She wanted to protect him, but how about holding him accountable for what he did? scary stuff, and, I want to know what's wrong with her, staying with a guy who talks that way and even pretends to stab her? she's lucky she wasn't found in the woods herself! I don't think the mother was enabling him, she was trying to protect him, which is disgusting in and of itself; and both parents were trying to coach him in the holding room who are these people? they are clearly monsters themselves I wonder did they give him slasher movies to study and suggest videos like this to help him cover his tracks. as well? no wonder he turned out as he did! it seems the only decent thing to come out of this family is the guilty plea the Adams family taught better values and why didn't the other kids at school who heard his talk do or say something? they knew they had a killer in their midst just sad, sick, and twisted all the way around ever since record store owners were getting arrested on obscenity charges for selling rap records in the '80's Florida has scared me. and I swore I would not go to Disneyworld [though I was/am eager to go] until I could be airlifted there from the airport this case makes it worse I am glad she and her mother got to spend a "girls" weekend there before this tragedy so her mother has that memory to hold onto, I feel so bad for her and her whole family, they broke my heart with their powerful witness statements who knew pebbles could be so poignant?

Aiden's mother should've been convicted for aiding and abetting, when she knew her son likely committed a crime the only thing she could think to do was cover it up? What was she going to do next give him a stern talking to and tell him to never do it again? And in the interrogation room she was still trying to coach him to try and get away with it, she is truly a Scumbag.

I dont think Aden has the sligest clue of the magnitude of what he did, how Tristan felt during her ordeal, what the families would go through because of this and ( by the way he was sitting clueless in the court wearing an orenge prison suit) what lies ahead for him for the rest of his life. What a horrific episode in the lives of these people including Tristan.

I wondered that. I live on a ranch/farm and often have a knife on me while doing chores, before or after school but no way would my parents let me taken them to school and no way would I need to. When I use them, it’s to cut open or help open feed bags or things like that. Not for protection. I don’t know anyone who names their knives. I don’t know anyone who needs them for protection.
This guy deserves nothing except a back door parole when he’s 95 years old or something.

@@sharingiscaring1952 I'm referring to the non killer kids who are out and about in the middle of the night with the killer kids roaming. Remove them from a potentially really bad situation and you drastically reduce the possibilities of being killed by them. I have a 13yr old daughter and there's absolutely no way I would be ok with her out at midnight doing only God knows what. I remove her from the situation and problem solved. This case is so devastating. To have a child murdered is painful in itself, but cant imagine the pain both parents feel on Mother's day. A day where many are enjoying it and making memories together as a family, this beautiful family has to always be reminded what happened that night, even if they try to block it out their minds. Also feel for them witnessing the killer have no real remorse about it either. Or that someone the daughter knew and trusted lured her to her death and did unspeakable cruel acts during the taking of her life. May they be comforted and justice be given to them.
Also extending to all the families out there that knows the pain of losing a child and dealing with it daily while still finding struggling to find the strength to go on.

His mother needs to have those other kids taken from her, I never got a good vibe from her. To me it seemed appearance was more important, she showed no care, remorse or anything towards Tristans family, she only cared about protecting, not her son, but his image! She never got him the help he needed & it was obvious that Aiden was struggling from a young age but she didn't care, she neglected him then berated him & all that hate, anger, hurt & whatever else lurking inside him spilled out & poor Tristan was the victim on the receiving end of a toxic relationship between mother & son. That, I believe is why Tristan recieved so many stab wounds, it was Aiden carrying out his anger & hurt towards his mother, it was fuelled with utter rage! RIP Tristan ❤❤
