I live here in Dickinson Texas and I love fishing the south and north jetty’s in my boat .also Seawolf park and the dike channel side at night with my 1500 watt light
Do you go up the inside channel from that little beach to get to the end of the jetties? Or do you go from the main beach on either side of the jetties? Great video I love the open water fishing for sure.
Hey Mark, I enjoy watching your channel I’m one of your Biggest Veteran fans!!! How can I purchase one one of your MDLR kayak stickers?! I would love to have all three of my kayaks representing your channel. AIRBORNE!!! ALL THE WAY!!!
Awesome, thanks for your service! Just send me an email stating the one you want and I’ll send you an invoice. My email is in the description of the video. mark.delarosa.fishing@gmail.com
What is looked for when trying to find fish in the bay exactly? Trying to get into saltwater inshore fishing more often, but it just baffles me. My friends and I have been going with not much luck. We live over 3 hours away so anything that could increase my chance would be awesome. I personally got a kayak 3 weeks ago and want to eventually take it down there. Is it more of looking for signs of life, birds and bait fish, situation or does testing locations with plastics randomly work too?
I try to pick a spot that has structure that will hold baitfish and attract gamefish. The marshes along the coast are great for reds and you can get lucky with a flounder or speck every once in a while. Open water fishing is one of the hardest things to do. You almost have to know where oyster reefs, drop offs, channels and other types of structures are because they’ll be underwater.
Sabine Pass marsh still has a steady bite but the gators are very active. Freeport has a slow bite at the jetty. Rollover Pass didn't have any action in the bay or marsh. Port O'connor had a good bite last week.
What’s up man I was on that surf side jetty today wasn’t catching nothing, was that u today? July 1st in the morning? I seen the same kayak color in the distance where u were fishing in this video. But anyways if it was u did u catch anything? it’s been really slow latley since the storm two weeks ago I noticed
MDLR Fishing thanks for replying bro and yea past two weeks been skunks for me but all the other weeks before been killing them. I look up to y’all love the videos, you, rx angler, redfish hunter and thresher y’all are great
Check Wal-Mart for a spoon made by War Eagle its called a super spoon and American made. They out fish any other spoon and come in a few sizes.I think it's the scale pattern but whatever it is they work especially for reds, kings and smacks

Were you on the inside of channel?
At the end of the jetty.
Oh ok, I just thought it you might be just inside the jetty, couldn't tell if it was channel side or outside the jetty.

Wasn't me, I took the day off. Fishing has been very tough. It may not seem like it but I've racked up more skunks than I'd like to have.
