Thank you! I was very pleased with this video. The drone shots came together nicely. At times composing the soundtracks can require multiple attempts. For this composition, I turned it around in under two hours and it matched the footage perfectly.
Thank you for the wonderful comments! I had great fun creating this video. The drones shots came together nicely. Lots more to come in the next few weeks.
Glad you like it. For the Mavic 2 Pro I use DLOG. For the GH5 I use the normal colour profile. I always shoot during golden hour, so I have less issues with dynamic range. I am starting to use the Atomos Ninja V, and will be upgrading to 10Bit, using the external recorder's capabilities. I will then probably start using flat profiles for the GH5 as well. What do you shoot with Marcel?
@@travelvideography3021 thx for your respond, I'm also shooting with GH5 and Mavic 2 Pro and I'm searching for best possible settings to match both picture profiles in sharpening, contrast and saturation straight out of camera, due to faster workflow...
Hi Aaron. No V-Log, just a neutral colour profile. Shutter speed is double the frame rate (180 rule). With the Sigma I shoot in manual focus mode, as it hunts badly. I used to shoot with auto focus on my 25mm 1.7, which handled focus better. The Sigma 18-35 is much harder to work with, but I find that I get a better image from the better quality glass. Hope this helps. BTW: There is a lot of magic that happens in post. Check out Cinema Grade. It really speeds up the colour grading process.
Love it. You nailed it
