    Nice, thats the only headlight for the green Kawi's that looks good IMO. That would go good on the 300r too

      I think it actually matches the 300r front fender a bit better also

    I noticed you didn’t use a relay and just hooked it up straight to the battery. Did you have any issues with it blowing the fuse since install? Thanks

    • @PatOutdoors
      @PatOutdoors  11 месяцев назад +1

      Nope, no blown fuses or battery drain issues

    just got my 140 going to try and plate here in texas. i dont know anything about electrical and you went so fast over all the wire work. could you make another video more in detail?

      you have a 2 lead switch, red goes to the battery, the other lead goes to the red of the headlight (high or low beam in this case) Black lead from your light goes to ground of battery. you put an in-line fuse block on the red from the battery and depending on your watts of the light would determine your fuse size.

      Im in the process of converting me 250 to street, have everything, and that was well out and simple to understand. Im no electrician when it comes to wiring lol @kratic7696

    So my kit came pre wired with a black wire which I am guessing is the negative wire,I hooked that up to the battery.Now however there is another yellow and black cable conduit hanging around with loose copper wire on the end,not sure where this cable goes.

    Will you be doing more videos on mods for the KLX? and you plan on making it street legal?

      @PatOutdoors  Год назад +1

      Absolutely, just taking my time with it bit by bit!

    Nice video! Do you know what I could do if i wanted to put one on my drz-125. It doesn't have a battery because its a kick start only.

      Thanks! Hmm honestly I’m not to familiar with how those are wired. I would think it would have to rely on the stator for power supply

    What color wire is it inthe front ? I want to do this to mine ..do you have a link for the light ..

    • @PatOutdoors
      @PatOutdoors  Год назад +1

      I didn't, I connected directly to the battery with an in-line fuse. The one I used is the Polisport Halo, but I think the green is currently out of stock: amzn.to/45FbRtA

    Hey bro i had a question about the install! Does the stock battery setup have any issues with the light? Has it ever killed your battery?

    • @PatOutdoors
      @PatOutdoors  Год назад

      Nope! Just don’t leave it on accidentally

      You can switch the halogen bulb for an LED one and draw way less current.

    Are tail lites and brake lights and turn signals required as well?

    • @PatOutdoors
      @PatOutdoors  Год назад

      This question really depends on your state. I live in VA, where you need Headlights, Brake Lights, Turn Signals, Mirrors, a Working Horn, and some DOT-rated tires to even be close to street-legal.

    10 amp fuse is way to high for the light it would be the same if you didn’t use it
