- Peter Cunningham's 'PowerPlay' MOD70 trimaran set a new world record for the classic 'Fasnet Course' 25hours 4 mins 18 secs. Crossing the Royal Yacht Squadron start line in Cowes, rounding the Fastnet Rock in southern Ireland and finishing as the pass the breakwater in Plymouth Sound.
