  • In this video, I install rear louvers on the 370.
This is the recommended process to ensure that they hold well, do not absorb water, and maintain their adhesive properties to avoid failure. The last thing you want are your louvers ripping off at highway speed & taking out the dude or dudette on a motorbike behind you. So, watch as I go through the full install process, test fit, bracket locations, single person install tips, adhesion promoter, cure times, sealing to prevent adhesive failure, etc.
This process is applicable to any louvers that attach to the rear or side windows with adhesive tape. So, whether you're installing them on a Z, a Challenger, Camaro, etc.; this process will ensure they stay put, if followed correctly and done before any of the adhesive gets wet from rain, carwashes, that weird cat that pees on your car, whatever...
It would be wise to check the weather and install when there is no rain in the forecast. Although, none was in the forecast in my area, and it rained...so might want to have a tarp handy, just in case.
*Disclaimer: You assume all risk of installing louvers on your ride, so if they come out crooked, fall off in the rain, fly off at highway speed and go into orbit, or cause bodily injury while installing, or after in any way...you better have band-aids, because I am not responsible.
Should you have any questions on my process, please feel free to ask in the comments. Link to the louvers, and products used below. Thanks for watching!
