I’m sorry Merg, but you can’t cherry bomb him this time.
Actually she didn't mettaton is smarter in mergs turn he transforms into normal 255 defense and in his turn he becomes mettaton NEO 90 attack but low defense ( -40.000)

The last attack is difficult. but effectively do three things and it's doable
1 : watch the lasers to ALWAYS make the disco Ball have a Blue laser next white and orange will always damage you. Shoot up to do this
2 : watch the left for timed bombs shoot them when they can be hit
3 : Watch the right and bottom to repel the boxes the timing on them is difficult
that attack is difficult mostly just needs focus and for you not to panic.
Mettaton is the saviour of humanity because he makes you rage quit.
Wanna die? Take a shot everytime Merg says, "Bad" or "Darnit"

There was going to be a fight like this in the normal game, but Toby decided it was too difficult, having undyne, sans, AND mettaton to deal with.
When I heard Merg say it was a really challenging game, I thought, probably for them but not for you lol

That final attack is just so insane. This is one of the few Unitale battles I've faced that I have never managed to beat because I can't multitask enough on that last attack.

I love how this fangame gives an actual explaination to why Asgore never absorbed the 6 human souls
For real. I always felt like that was a massive plot hole in the Genocide route
Always assumed it was due to guilt.
Asgore doesn't recognize you as a human, he asks "what kind of monster are you" right before you kill him.
Asgore sees himself in you, even if you have no justification for your actions, he can't bring himself to call upon the help of those he murdered to stop you.
Sure it's flawed and I like this explanation more but still.

Anyway. Im glad Merg doesnt just play Sans fangames. Because he (sans) gets too much attention anyway.
Actually, Sans is among my least favorite characters. Dunno why all the others like him so much.
People like him because either they think he's "badass" or because of his jokes and whatnot.
Imho the stronger you are, the more difficult it is to be badass. A milionaire donating ten bucks is not the same as a beggar giving the same amount.
Besides, popping in right in the end where pretty much everyone is dead might be a tiny bit late. Also, if you don't care about your brother yourself why do you expect me to?
Not to mention him promising to look after you while doing literally nothing to help. Buddy, noone has pulled your tongue. Agreeing to something and then rainchecking on it dots him as a person you can't rely on. Could at least give half a temmie flake. I've got the feeling he pops up when he feels like it; just when he needs entertainment rather than any other reason.
