idk if this is a dumb question but do you think you could make a video more on the legal side of things? like tax and filing your business and stuff like that because for me that's where i shy away because that seems super complicated and scary ahahaha
Some things i can think of off hand is keep your receipts of what you spend on hand. You can use them when you do your taxes for deductions. Depending on where you live and how it works where you are you can do this with your rent / mortgage too . so whatever percentage of your living space you use for your buisness is tax deductible. Also, everytime you make money put aside what you should be taxed for that income , because that way you dont get screwed over at the end of the year you're prepared to pay the taxes on your sales. Also make friends with or hire an accountant! This is their job. Its good to reach out and ask other artists but at the end of the day an accountant will be super helpful if not neccessry. I know it can be overwhelming but just take a deep breath and use your resources. You got this 👍☺

Why do you think so? Maybe your marketing strategy is not the most beneficial. Try taking great photos of the product, change the brand's image, film ads, use canva to create cute little insta stories, etc. You got this!

When I was in 4th grade, id go to the store and buy a pack of cute erasers. For example i bought pokemon erasers (a pack of 7) and sold each one for $3. I made $21. The lack of erasers probably cost like $4 I forgot. But that’s how I made money. Then in 5/6th grade I made a slime business with my friends. We made like $40 so I ended the company and gave them both $10 (there was 10 of them) and took the rest of the money. 😂😂😂
