@@EasyTechGeek They may be replaced, but AMD recommends removing old drivers before installing new drivers. Installing new drivers without removing the old may cause problems. Does this update process actually remove the old or just overwrite the existing? BTW, nice & concise video, just the question about uninstall that AMD really doesn't address on their site.

You don't need to uninstall the outdated driver first? I remember needing to do that with an older Nvidia GTX 1050ti

Try the automatic detect if already tried then manually update according to model number of pc

Check if manufacturer has any update
when i go to download it, it recommends a factory reset. does this mean all my games and videos will be wiped from my pc?
Factory reset will clean it like a brand new condition
the driver i downloaded and installed from the official site has a date of 12/8/2022 but when I check the date on task manager it says 11/30/2022
Could be it's from that date for that particular model
