If you're wondering if you're spoiling yourself bosses like minos and sisyphus, don't worry, they're optional endgame bosses that are supposed to be the last challenge of the act they are in (minos represents act 1 and sisyphus represents act 2) and the way you're supposed to get to minos and sisyphus is by p-ranking all the levels in the act they're in (sisyphus also requires killing minos) which means you need to master the game's movement, guns and enemy positions on every level to get maximum points for time, kills and style.
In short: Buy ULTRAKILL.
Haven't played the game but I think it still applies, the term you are looking for is "superbosses" to refer to endgame optional bosses that require full mastery of every mechanic.

Sisyphus Prime is the only boss who yells "DESTROY!" and destroys your will to live.
Where Minos Prime yells "CRUSH!" and crushes all of your hopes and dreams.
The rule of thumb in any game is that if the dude has prime in his name, he's gonna mess you up.
Doesn't apply to Sepiks Prime, who got hit with the D2 powercreep™.

I have played Ultrakill, and yes, the Ultrakill npcs mod is basically carbon copy from the original game. And I also heavily recommend that you play Ultrakill, as it’s one of my favorite fps’s of all time
Except like, the npc’s are nerfed beyond harmless and they do no damage. It’s way more punishing in the real game. Get hit once and your dead, your thrown off and now his behind you.

in the real game Sisyphus and Minos don't deal anymore damage than regular enemies deal, even if they have the one attack that takes away 50 health, its usually easily avoidable/parryable, since Hakita has a mindset with the game's difficulty to not make it artificial with damage values cranked up, rather, he puts tighter timings and faster attacks.
Minos and Sisyphus' attacks are very survivable if you know how to play. Sure, if you are newer and aren't really good, I can see how they can be as big a challenge as you present them to be, but in reality, they are just well constructed, fun, yet difficult bosses, not these "get hit once" bs kinda bosses where you can make no mistakes.
Memorize their attacks, know how to parry, and they become simple and easy, yet still fun
In garry's mod versions, I didn't really see any problems with them, since they behave like how they do in ultrakill, and even their damage isn't that low in gmod.

@@pcperson420 a hit from a prime boss does 25-30 hp, not 50, or 100
minos's crush (and maybe judgement) have the ability to do 50
the only attack from sisyphus that does 50 is "this will hurt"

They just yoink its code and put it in gmod, kinda like those "super mario 64 playable in ____ game!"
Personally I think the most fun is fighting him with a melee weapon like flashcut 2 since not only does it make parrying easier, but it also forces you to parry because of the short range.
PS: I think an ultrakill playthrough would be cool.
Use that mod that adds ultra kill mod, start being a SSS hitstorm and swap weapons for maximum dopamine rush
Everytime I fight an ultra kill npc it makes me sad how every enemy from that game hasn't been made into NPC's for gmod

i dont know if someone else has told you but the little yellow star means you can parry him for more damage,the blue star means you cant parry that attack

viruses spread, and usually infect the hosts PC instead of a game they have installed
the "virus" was in reality just a shock screamer that was bound to pop up when you pressed any of your action keys, which could be fixed with a simple uninstall.
the malicious shock content the gmod community has seen over the past year is an annoying trend that a few select creators seem to follow every once in a while, but is not an actual real danger to your PC.
that could change in the future, but it is extremely unlikely, especially considering how tight workshop moderation is

Okay so i tested this mod out today with a friend and i found some very interesting stuff. You regain HP when damaging him while he attacks you and ur currently moving backwards. Jumping ontop of shockwaves also heals (its basically parrying). I also used a dash / dodge mod which worked too great if ur really skilled u can win this in one go and its a blast on a big map. Its like a rollercoaster, you go up to heaven and then you go down to hell, and then? you die...
Short version: I recommend a certain weapon called Combat fang from the most popular SCI-FI weapons mod, i recommend a slide option, Dodge with a 2 / 3 second cooldown and a big map

Wait. Did he heal after Parrying him? I know that's a thing in Ultrakill, but I didn't think they'd be able to carry that over into Gmod.
@@EmberTheFlareon3579 yeah even without the parry mod. If i remember correctly you regain HP if you "parry" by "dodging".

yeah no in gmod these bosses are alot harder than in ultrakill (you can trust me on this, i've gotten very good at bullying minos prime and tried to fight minos in gmod)
using ArcCW weapons i have tweaked to be fast-paced and arcadey (quick reloads, no recoil, no hip dispersion, sprint shooting blah blah) and with the help of some ultrakill ability mods i was able to kill minos and get sisyphus to his second phase
(fighting them in the actual game is probably still easier though)

how do you get the npcs to work? im pretty new to gmod, and whenever i spawn an npc from the spawn list it ragdolls. i see other people making videos with the npcs moving and stuff, and ive searched everywhere i just dont know how to make them move, if there is anyone who knows more than that would be nice

That only happends if something is bad writen in the mod code, even a single letter or bad placed command can cause that error maybe try deleting it then installing it again
