I really liked the new Super Pershing, I mean if you add a turbo on it, you can easily take aggressive positions and destroy your enemies. I just bought it 1 week ago an I already got my first mark on it!

I traded my JAG 8.8 for this and I regret literally zero % of my decision.
Nothing beats the feeling of the near auto bounce of just wagging your turret with a "no" at someone and watching their 2k in credits fly away from you.

I was just watching one shake his gun back and forth and I couldn't help but physically laugh at how rediculous I thought it was at the time as a potato shooting at him, and I told him as much in chat.

Fun fact: the secondary UFP on the super Pershing was actually ripped from a panther hull.
No, additional gun mantlet plate was ripped from Panther. Those additional plates on the hull are just made from structural steel, so I don't believe you think that Panther hull was made from structural steel. Also both of these additional plates on the hull are only 38 mm thick, while Panther hull has 80mm which matches gun mantlet plate.
This... This is just not true
Engineers salvaged an 80 mm (3.15 in) CHF (Cemented Hard Face) frontal plate from a destroyed Panther and welded it straight on to the mantlet. Holes were cut on the left and right of the gun so the gun sight and coaxial .30 cal machine gun could still be used. Additional, overlapping plates were also welded to the forward hull of the tank, creating a crude spaced armor. Later on, more armor, in the form of “ears”, was also attached to the mantlet plate. A large counterweight was also added to the rear of the turret bustle.

Only the gun mantlet was from the panther. The Hull was just additional structural steel welded on.
SP was my first premium and i won it on a marathon and i loved it. That MM was so nice even if 170mm pen and slow as a turtle

I'm older and kind of a crap player admittedly, but with 17K battles under my belt, I've seen a lot of crap thrown at me too. This update to the Super Pershing may make it the kind of machine that helps me overcome some of my age-related performance nerfs, so speak.

"Preferential Matchmaking" is one of the fairest options to balance a tank to me.
A tank is fun and it doesn't hurt anyone too much.
For me even some tech-tree tanks would profit from it and nobody would really suffer under it.
For the IS-3 until you get the best gun or the M3 Lee to get a bit more reasonable.
Really all stock tanks. Also I got the WZ-111 Alpine tiger and if it wasn’t for PMM it would be awful. It’s really dominate top tier and a good heavium in mid tier.

Ah, the Super Pershing, this one holds a special place for me, I used to play World of Tanks with my Dad and my Uncle, who interestingly enough was a French Foreign Legionnaire, a Tank commander mainly, and me and my Dad were both history nuts so we all played together, now, I was only nine back in 2012, so I had basically no brain and couldn't play well, but as a late birthday gift, my Uncle gave me a bucket load of premium tanks, one of which was the Super Pershing. The first Tier VIII tank I ever owned, and was actually the first mid tier vehicle I learned how to play proper.
the slow speed of this tank makes it one of my best because it forces me to think more than a fast tank would

this is like the 4th or 5th buff that this tank has been through since i started playing in 2014 there trying to fix there mistake when they nerfed it before i started playing the game
Still doesn’t have its riot shield armor that it had before it was nerfed for historical reasons back in 2013/2014
It was kind of funny back then, when the titanium armor wasn't even penetrable for the JäGru for sure. 50/50 chance every shot.

from 2016-2019 I played for free, never once had the thought of buying a premium tank. But after graduating from school and work I also tried to buy a premium tank and the T26E4 SuperPershing was the first premium tank I bought, after a few games at first I regretted it a little and muttered "are you serious about naming this tank with the word "Super" " ?
A few years later and 2021 came, the T26E4 SuperPershing got a buff, and after I played it... WOW thanks WG! finally it deserves to be called SuperPershing 👍

I got mine day one, sometimes it sat for years, others it was played daily.
Something that one need to take into consideration is that mm sees this tank as a tier 8 medium tank... and picks other tier 8 premium medium tanks as opponents. So this means you will meet a lot of them, so be ready for those Progettos or type 59 or CS-52... or whatever OP tank wg will introduce next... Games against tier 7 are very rare. Against tier 6 is like 1 out of 20 games.
depends on how many people are on the server in na if its on a time when a lot of people are playing you mostly see tier 8s and lower mostly tier 8 battles witch its great in
You do very well against any tier 8 tank in SP
Always was my go-to credit grinder. Epic credit profit because of the stupid cheap shells. Somehow I’m able to make the armor work and the mobility wasn’t all that bad. It was useable. It was also my first two-marked tank
They should rename the tank to Mediocre Pershing, and since Mad Max: Fury Road we know what that means.
got the rental this weekend, added vent-rammer-turbo and put my M48 3skill crew on it! Wow. fun. So i put in a ticket to get mine back from WG , I bought this feb 1 2013 for $33.49 and kept it for a few years.. it wasn't that good then. so i sold it. Now i put in a ticket for the VRT program.
The VRT allows you to restore all Premium and Rare vehicles that have previously been sold as many times as you would like. Now you can restore your Premiums without using one of your yearly exceptions! I am really liking it now! Great VID QB..
My oldest premium in game. Kepted it through all the reworks and is still my most played tank...
It’s also great that the bigass weak point that was the twin pistons on top of the mantlet was removed.
It was my first premium tank, its very good for new and experienced players ;D
IMO it was the pen buff back in the day which pushed this tank from being frustrating (fired more premium when the standard rounds only had 178mm, 202 was a huge help) to solid. Not great by any means, but solid. Seeing the new mobility stats are definitely something though, now I'll bet this thing would be an absolute gas to drive.
Also I respect that S-Tenk driver for not going in. The HP pools weren't the deciding factor, the problem was that QB's team had a Russian TD with a big gun, a semi-traversible turret, two remaining allies and sufficient approximate knowledge of the STRV's position after the Tiger's reckless charge. At best the STRV could have caught the Pantera and scored another kill, but without knowing exactly which tank was where (for all he knew the Pantera was in the cap while the SU was covering from mid) there was barely a single shot's worth of damage to earn out of an aggressive move and an all but certain death in exchange. Also it's Redshire, the sheer amount of concealment in the bushes on either side of the map ensured that even QB's Spershing would be able to spot an approaching TD without being seen until after firing, so needless to say the SU was in an even better position to do exactly that.
This tank was my second from T34 SUPER Pershing back in 2012 love it still got it glad they upgrade it.
It's always funny when qb makes a video of how good any tank is when he plays as a top tier, 2 tier higher than the rest. You know what, any 8 tier tank is perfect when playing against tier 6.
Played this in a platoon with my boyfriend. It’s honestly pretty good
On the console, when this tank was released nobody knew of the weak spots and it was incredible

Pershing was always good in new matchmaker because you are a heavy that counts as medium, so your team has one extra heavy. And his premium round was always good even for tier 10. And best thing is he has medium tank cammo so he was always underrated tank. It is good tank in good hands.

I've had this tank since it first came out, I'm nowhere a great player, but sometimes, this thing is just awesome. As premium, part of the Verizon special, I was #1 with 3,578 damage and 3 kills. For a whopping 125,983 credits, 10,941 xp and 25 bonds!!! Oh and badges, badges, badges Mastery 1st class, Shell Proof, Duelist, Hand of God, Bruiser and finally High Caliber. With the latest tweaks, this tank is a blast to play. PS love the reviews.
I carry about the same ammo loadout. I rarely if ever use my gold rounds. Using skills to acrue damage is satisfactory. And the additional speed makes it useful.
05:50 - thats why I think making premium ammo the same price as regular ammo is a must. The only difference nowadays is who is trying to save credits and the "Three mark club" that just spams gold no matter what

Super Pershing was among the best preferential tier8s for a while now. And they keep buffing it.

I think the super perishing is my only tank with 10k damage and a kolobanovs medal combined in the same game. Was my first premium tank ever as well.
I've always love the Super Pig, it's my most-played tank. Running it now with turbo and irm and it's doing quite well.
@QuickyBaby you may want to put an epilepsy trigger warning for the flashing graphical errors in the video. I have seen other errors like this in other videos and they carry a basic warning of unintended rapid flashing.
I feel like it could use a little bit more armor on the turret.... other than that this is a great tank now! Also put a turbo on it and it's a ohhhh so fun tank.

I hate meeting these things on the battlefield, as you have to work your way round the flank unless you have a great tier IX gun. Now they are going to be quicker with their traverse (I presume, with the power to weight upgrade) any general speed.
Spershing is the first tier8 that I ever got 2 marks of excellence on. And it wasn't because the expectations were low, for some reason I've always played it very well, maybe because heavy meta was so important and as a Spershing you'd kinda give your team an advantage because you can to an extent play both roles.
Ive had mine forever. I enjoy it was my first premium. Yeah was slow as balls, had a large weakspot. But god damn i love it, its fun to play, especially if you encounter some you get the chance to fave hug
I started playing in August, and i remember, though i am not sure from where exactly, that the Super Pershing were initially considered OverPowered, and i think it was nerfed in 2013? I may be mis remembering.
But one thing is for sure, I SOLD MY FUCKING SOUL to get this tank, during 2014 the Marathon, we had 28 days to get 7 times x 75 thousand XP, for each nation in the game at that time. My luck was that, back in the day, it was XP and not BASE xp, and because World of Warplanes came out a bit earlier i got a good chunk of premium days from being a Tester(or that chunk of Premium days, which intially were a whopping 48 days, i think, got me into buying Premium Time), and that helped enourmously on the grind. My first Premium tank, i still remember even in 2014-2015 people sturggling to go through the frontal armour.
"If they had the hitpoints activated in it" - but that just came with the last patch and you said it's an older replay. So, if they had the mod, maybe. Even hitpoints activated is not accurate. Played with my son and what his client saw was different from mine, showed different numbers when we were platooned. These numbers are not server-side; they are what your client sees as damage taken and/or shown. So, whatever happens beyond render range stays hidden. If you got busted up at the other end of the map and then drive close, as long as you are not lit, the enemy's client will calculate your hitpoints "known" as last seen if you ever were in render range or full.
I still use the turbo....because this tank has big groud resistance values. And with the new buffs i dont need to use stab anymore.

After the recent changes the SP is really really good. I always loved playing American meds and this is great credit maker. You can easily manage 1.6k- 2.0k damage in most games. The preff MM also makes this a gem for me, since I hate tier 10 battles.
When Wargaming buff the Jadgtiger 88 like they did with the Super Pershing, I'll consider coming back...
What tank shall I get, the char futur 4 or the kunze panzer?
Char is more fun bc it's an autoloader

Kunze Panzer if u love hulldown & played on ridgeline
I would wait for some reviews after the kunze panzer comes out before getting it. It looks either really good or crap, depending on how the gun feels with it's good dispersion, but crap aim time and accuracy. Also manual siege mode sucks

I remember enjoying playing the SP back years ago on South Coast (jeesus, playing a slow tank on South Coast...), then they nerfed it a bit, actually slower and made a ok gun worse. Funny how the re-specced vehicles come back into play.
My screen started doing that about a week ago I believe it was after their last update so I updated graphics card driver and it has been fine every since. Otherwise when my screen does that it is two things graphics card going out or drivers need updated.
Super pershing , that tank have special place on my heart , as my first premium tank on wot Blitz and wot PC
did wg forgot about the FV4202? that thing have a really bad dispersion while moving despite having no turret armor and smol damage. Same goes to cromwell B, a huge pineapple aim bloom while moving and have stop for like 4 seconds ++ to be able to precisely shoot somebody.
The Super Pershing was, and always has been the absolute best vehicle to bring into the test servers where everyone sloshed around HEAT.
It still has the same issues before, since the gun overall is the problem. All the new tanks have good pen and high Alpha, the S. Pershing, is just left behind.

Hi! QuickyBaby! I had this bug in 1.11 patch before. Try to turn off some graphical option like Tesselation effect and lighting quality. If it doesn't work, then use standard graphics. Standard graph has not have theese bugs but the tanks have the only beauty thing in that option. :)
Nice video as always. But here is the thing; You should show your current equipment and crew for the tank you showcasing at the end of the video. So that, ppl may have some real idea about the tank.

The hitpoints only update when you can see the tanks so it could still say you're all on max hp (half for quickybaby because the s1 shot him) and the s1 likewise may not have been full health so the health bar is not a great indicator of their chances
SuperP is the first tank I ever got a mark on and so far it's one of the highest damage tanks I have. Had a really good game with it and ripped through a team

My first premium tank, sold it when you could for gold. Bought an E25 for that and got it back in a mission marathon. On of my fav tanks since then on tier 7.5 Love to see the buff :D
WG gave it 200pen like I asked them to do several years ago ) I like my Super P .
This tank is especially nasty now. With the Turbo it gets to position and just holds it even when it’s outnumbered. I just got it for the trade in a month ago and I love it
Since the last buffs this one became borderline enjoyable tank to play. The power to weight added mobility and the others made a significant difference for the boring gameplay it had before where in situations it became a light tank snack when it was not able to keep them in the aiming circle (turret and tank itself was not able to keep up with the speed of circling light) and it got circled the possible most pathetic way. Interestingly before the buffs, I had 61,5% win rate with it with 90 battles, which is unbelievable, so sort of say it was not necessarily a bad tank even before.
SuperPershing used to have really trash dispersion especially considering how slow it is in general and that you have to wiggle back and forth to limit cupola shots on ridgelines. That was the worse part of the vehicle to me.
I love his tank, Chuck loves it too lol but I can’t work that tech tree Pershing, just can’t work that gun that I switched to the T69 and have better games.
The regular Pershing was always a favorite of mine, and nearly always delivered a good game. This adjustment might make the Super Pershing a viable tank for me, should I decide to start playing again. This is one of the few pluses I see to the game at this point.
I had to come back to the SP. I had one some time back and It was terrible - never did well in it. But I’ve became a collector (I just picked up the TOG 2 because I just had to, LOL) and play for fun. I ain’t that good, about average, but I love playing the game here and there. I’ll let you know what I think of it.

I liked my SP even before the buff, cheap, solid and newb friendly premium. I actually prefer to run mine with rammer/turbo/stabilizer because i feel it can play both the heavy tank role when top tier and the support medium role when against tier 9s better with that setup. But, i'm also the madman who enjoys playing the Bourrasque with Grousers/IRM/Optics to optimize the turning speed for scouting and fast hit n run attacks. If it looks stupid but it works...
I remember the SP. 216 battles reached 45% win rate. Sold it back when WG had a buy-back (for gold).

Super Pershing is my max damage tank at tier 8. Just a fun tank, great classic of WoT and one of the OG meme wagons
I like Super Pershing and i liked it even before buffs, because it was first tier VIII premium tank I got :D and i got it for free in some kind of missions which was little similiar to mission marathons we get today, but it was way easier to complete.
Anyway, I think I make decent profits with this tank, it is first tank i got 2nd mark of exellence, hope it will be my first 3rd MOE tank, because i am at 90% right now. Maybe it will come true XD

202 pen is actually quite good for a tier 8 pref matchmaking medium considering it use to only have 170 pen
What was that about the tech tree Pershing having a better gun? Only when you load the gold (where the Super Pershing has 258mm pen and the Pershing has 268). For standard AP, the Super Pershing is better (202 vs 190 pen). And the Super Pershing also has better base reload (8 seconds rather than 8.2).
The Pershing was such a grind for me. Even though I aimed at penetrable parts it felt like none of my shells would pen, so when Super Pershing came, I said no way.
I've been playing mine lately, it's a much better tank than it was before the buff.
5:40 the Super Pershing reverse speed is autism sometimes xD it's very fast
QB, I love ya but you're smoking crack.
The SP has better DPM than the FV4202, better standard and gold pen than the T-44-100, better view range than a Larsen, better gun depression than the CS-52 LIS, and better accuracy than the Bourrasque.
It also has more hit points than all of those because it brought an extra tank turret for additional armor and decoration.
Oh, and it NEVER sees tier X tanks.
Always loved the SP, had some of my best games in it by just pointing the nose at the enemy and murdering them while they bounced
Got mine for free on tournament gold all those years ago and it has been a pretty bi-polar experience despite two marking it casually.
