I'd halfta be toxic to ask for a refund
Should consumers be entitled to a refund if a product is defective? The answer is both yes and no. Yes, if the defect is due to the company's fault, consumers should be able to get their money back. However, if the defect arises from the consumer's misuse or mishandling of the product, then a refund may not be justified.
To illustrate this, let's consider video games, such as the highly anticipated GTA VI. Suppose Rockstar Games releases the game after 11 years of development, and it turns out to be full of bugs and glitches. If the rush to release was driven by consumer impatience, which pressured higher-ups and consequently the developers, then the root cause lies with the consumers and management. As the saying goes, "A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad." Thus, whether a refund is warranted depends on the underlying cause of the product's issues.
I demanded my money back when I bought Star Fox Zero. Motion controls? Really Nintendo?
Honorable mention: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. How did Rocksteady & Warner Bros fumble so hard almost about 10 years in development? Plus Disrespecting Conroy's Legacy? Tbh the game should've been called Suicide Squad: Justice League of America but this time Batman surviving, finding a way to save the Justice League while 'stealing' The Suicide Squad from Waller. But this.... It aint it

Conroy, his peers & his die hard fans. & killing off Batman instead of having the Caped Crusader step down & take a backseat while watching over the Suicide Squad get accustomed to being members of the Justice League is a Cardinal Sin that shouldn't have been broken
I actually got that game for my birthday this year and it’s pretty good I just try to think about it as a suicide squad game instead of a Batman Arkham game.
Don't blame Rocksteady. Blame Warner Bros. I don't personally like to blame developers when a studio has clearly been assigned a project that had a s*** concept to begin with; I don't mean "Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League" I mean that it needed to be a Live Service Looter Shooter. They could have made a fantastic multi-player game if hooks required for those elements weren't required. The Arkham games would have been s*** too if numbers and colorful loot popped out of every enemy he killed and was designed in such a way that it didn't have an actual ending. For what it's worth, the game looked like it played just fine. They did the best they could with the hand they were dealt if you ask me. It's those re****ds at Warner Bros who looked at 2023's best selling Hogwarts Legacy and said "no more of that. Can't be making games people if it's not making stupid amount of money. I don't care if it's profitable. It's not stupid profitable and we need to tap into the stupid market and drain the wallets of those stupid people who spend stupid amount of time in stupid games and buy stupid things. We need that and only that and we'll keep throwing s*** at the wall until it happens."
The death of Batman isn't the problem, I feel. The game is literally called Kill The Justice League and we all know that if Batman were on the side of the good guys, people would want to play as him for the whole game.
His death is meant to be the final joke, with Harley pulling all the trigger and mentioning the Joker. Despite the myth of the Batman, he died like a normal man.
Kevin's untimely demise made it feel as if he was being disrespected while the truth may be that he actually liked how it ended. We may never know but its time to stop beating up the game over its treatment of Batman.
It is not a good game, but Batman is not the cause for that.
Fallout 76 was hated for being ridiculously buggy, and for ridiculous microtransactions that were overpriced, especially when they were made gameplay effecting. Both of those are absolutely justified reasons to hate on a game.
Suicide Squad should be on this list too
Battlefield 2042 should have been on the list because not only this _electronic atrocity_ was a low-quality ripoff to several popular trends it CLEARLY cramped into without even a damn scoreboard, but there was a infamous petition asking for *FULL refunds for ALL buyers* due to how broken and unplayable this game is.
Mortal Kombat 1: And this is why I’m trying my best to get the money to get a PS5 because of that
The day before game will be... Like... Iconic how they promoted it like the best zombie game and slowly we all realised it was a scam and how they went "oh we can't give your money back" that was incredible best company ever

In Fallout 76’s defense since the Wastelanders update the game runs more smoothly and crashes significantly less. Also 76 has been getting content after content as opposed to just dying a slow and painful death like other live services (Anthem,Marvel’s Avengers,Suicide Squad:Kill the Justice League).
In CD Projekt Red's defense they have over hauled Cyberpunk 2077. It doesn't excuse it's launch, but it's waaaaaaay better than it was and the Phantom Liberty DLC is excellent. I've put in over 110 hours myself.
Rocksteady and Square Enix should give people their for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and Marvel's The Avengers

The original PS2 versions of both games are far better and superior than the classic re-release collection.
Mortal Kombat on Switch has been updated and largely fixed and improved as I saw on a video recently. It's amazing what they did in my opinion.
You could tell The Day Before was just a scam from the start, I remember I sister showing me a trailer and all I could do was laugh
Its not just that triple a switch ports are bad but they want the same price as the other platforms and even more during discount sales
Good thing GTA The Trilogy: The Definitive Edition didn’t cost me when I subscribed to Game Pass, but I still felt cheated by how unfinished this version is.

If it was because of the technical issues OK but Wasn't there any gameplay footage or screenshots that showed that the gameplay was gonna be like jump force, j-stars victory or technical half of the anime videogame adaptation?
JJK Cursed Clash, on top of being a literal copy-paste of Jump Force but replacinf everyone with the JJK cast, not to mention the series becoming bleaker and bleaker by the day with Sukuna basically kickstarting a killing spree with neither end nor hope in sight, is a major case of people not wanting anything related to another bleak story.
At least Fallout 76, Cyberpunk 2077 and Dying Light 2 have redeemed themselves ;3

I really don't understand why NetherRealm not only made a Switch port for Mortal Kombat 1, a game meant for PS5 and Series X, but had the AUDACITY to sell the port for $70...

The Unnecessarily Released Spinoff Rappin' (1985) not a video game but when saw Breakin' (1984) & Breakin' 2 Electric Boogaloo (1984) I though that was the end of the road but I discover Rappin's was a thing watched It and Wasn't Impressed It was cornier and Goofier than the Breakin' movies and that's saying something wish I got my refund terrible movie

My little sister loves Jujutsu Kaisen (& Demon Slayer).
And I have a feeling she's also going to be disappointed with this game as well.

GTA Trilogy Definitely Edition apart from the awful and laughable bugs and glitches, the characters and peds looks like plastic figures covered in wax, like a cheap earlier CGI movie.
