But if you get into our country on one of these visas, Americans expect you to become an American, have your Indian culture, but also start celebrating Christmas, start celebrating 4th of July, start believing in merit and hard work, and make sure once you're in the position to hire people, that you hire the best candidates, and not just other Indians
That's where a lot of this bitterness is coming from, Americans think hey we allow things to be diverse and hire a large range of people, but then those hired people only hire other people who look like them, and that is causing huge issues

Marring someone outside of your background is a strong sign of assimilation.

You insinuate that H1B visas do not suppress wages by comparing the average wages of H1B workers to the average wages of Americans. To be meaningful, you should compare the average wages of H1B visa holders to the average wages of Americans in the industries in which the foreign workers are replacing American workers.

With all due respect highly qualified immigrants through programs like H1B are the reason US is able to maintain its dominant position in the world. So many have created companies here and created employment. Especially Indians are known to abide by the law, pay high taxes and contribute to the growth of US. You should be thankful for this top talent you are getring. US citizens have the first right for these jobs amd they don't make it or simply aren't in enough numbers. Sorry but the argument that they pay less salaries to Indians is absolutely BS. Just check what is the avg and median income of Indian immigrants in US. They are paid equally. So why is any US company willing to go through hassle of immigration/ visa expense to employ someone and pay the same? Think.

Vivek Ramaswamy is a prime example of someone smart-not the smartest person in the room, but one with the highest drive and motivation. When you delegate authority, you must know a person's character and limitations. Trump dropped the ball on this one and you didn't need a crystal ball to see what was coming. Vivek doesn't know how to stay in his lane of knowledge and often strays into sounding like an uneducated narcissist. Classic used car salesman syndrome.
