Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This RUclips channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

Lol Rick is a “pro” golfer . None of those shots should’ve ever even happened tbh. From Guy it’s expected, but as a professional that plays every day Rick plays like a 20 handicapper lol. Great dude horrible athlete 😂
Gents. Thank you so much for two of you sacrificing your rounds to highlight the importance of staying on the fairway and out of the rough for the Open. Truly noble. Once or twice would have done, but adding in the extra information on how much Out of Bounds there is was really appreciated.

Delusion
Rick wouldn't break 80 on Walton Heath New and Old, Carnoustie, Cinque Ports, Woodhall Spa. Needs some lessons or stop pretending to be a scratch golfer. We're watching a 7-8 handicap RUclipsr pretending to be a pro. Let's see him play 2 rounds at Cinque Ports off the champ tees and try to break 85 both rounds. He'd struggle to break 90.
As someone from the US who realistically will never get the opportunity to play any of these places I really appreciate these videos on these incredible courses! Well done to all three of you and well played
James played some unbelievable shots on this course. Looks so strange without people in the stands but so inviting. The rough is a real hazard though! Great video can’t wait for the next one with you three!
This was one of my all time favorites. Such a great highlight of just how tough championship golf really is.
That really was on of the greatest 6 ever by Guy! Also James showing a touch of class at such a difficult course and Rick with the amazing putting display. Looking forward to the trio doing many more of the break 75 series together.

Watching James Robinson play has taught me so much. He always goes for more club. He doesn't try to manufacture shots. Plays to his strengths and keeps his swing consistent. Love to watch it.
Unlike Rick, who's always calling a shot he cannot pull off. Without a doubt, if Rick calls for "a fade" he's either hitting his stock pull/hook he calls a "draw" or he's slicing it two fairways over into the gorse!!
I thought everyone knew that was the failure of most amateurs and high handicappers?

Yeah I’ve often thought, what if Rick just went at the pin and tried to hit it straight? Like there’s always a chippy 7 or a low 4 or a big draw and it’s like just go at it. Feels like the margin for error is so much greater with those shots. James didn’t really try to get cute at all
Look forward to these videos every week! Started golf two weeks ago and can’t get enough of the videos. Watched my first golf comp last week for the Scottish open and can’t wait for the Open this week

I honestly gained a huge huge appreciation for what is happening this week based on how everyone played. Just picked up golf and Rick was the first channel I got tips and pointers from. Huge huge help for me, I will never stop golfing, but seeing a fantastic golfer miss fairways gave me a little feeling like I’m not the only one who can miss a fairway, cheers! As ever Rick and his team have produced some top-drawer entertainment. Thing is, this time they have produced one of the best Open previews I've seen ! @@Shanky_TH9540 I thought that too, i love the videos but his golf is not up to scratch these days. Must be really hard to find time to practice or have swing coaching when your job is filming golf videos and running a business, but he could seriously do with some help.
His swing looks out of rhythm, seems like he's starting to get too quick compared with some of his succesful break 75's.
I enjoy watching your content. Rick and Guy do such a fabulous job of describing what they are feeling about each shot. Awesome play from James! One of my favorite Break 75!

Don't think I've ever seen so many amazing shots/putts in one video as this one. Such a hard test of Golf but some of the golf was truly brilliant, especially from James.

Great content again here. Have played Royal Liverpool before, many years ago. Fond memories, played one of my best rounds there. Would love to go back at some point.

Hi Rick, another great video. I admire you playing these great and very tough courses but as you admit you are struggling with your swing, I’d love to see you play a regular course off the yellow tees. It would be very interesting to see how you do on your 75 challenge, and also help a lot of us to accept moving forwards when struggling.
