Fantastic video and well played Matt and Pete. Beautifully filmed and edited again, with the graphics that really enhance the whole experience. Really enjoying this series with great banter from you both and the guys behind the cameras. Balcomie Links is such a joy and you really all did it justice. Old Tom Morris really did know how to use every piece of ground to great effect in this one of his many masterpiece’s. Looking forward to the next one.

I bought two of the same cube tanks you showed in this video. I got the 14 gallon tanks because they fit perfectly on a shelf I built to sit below the 40 gallon and stand I also just bought. Of course both were setup as anoxic filtration systems with plants. The 40 is my first saltwater. The 14s have been cycling for six weeks. Not because they needed to, but because I had no idea what I wanted to put in them. Well, my Petco (huge fan of one of three in my area) got a shipment in today. So one of the tanks is now stocked with a dozen cherry barbs about 50/50 male/female. Water tested perfect as I expected since started using this filtering a couple years ago. The other tank is still sitting empty, but nice knowing I have a place for anything new that catches my eye. Anyway, great tanks and great filtration!
All six of my Dr Novak tanks are running so well. My 40 gallon freshwater has Blackbeard algae but a couple Florida flag fish I got today should help with that. They are already eating away!
Thing I noticed and appreciate the most about my anoxic tanks is parameters stay stable and perfect. Nitrate runs about 25 whether I change water or not. Which is perfect for planted tanks. I still change water for various reasons, but using this filtration method gives me the flexibility to change water once a week, two weeks, a month.... Whatever I want. Then I'm not locked into a maintenance schedule every weekend! Doesn't seem to matter when I change water (about 15%), it's always easy, fast, and parameters still stay the same!

You'll have to pardon my language, but these are the best shit ever. The little interludes between holes are spectacular with their 80s "Let's Go" music bed and classic interactions. If we aren't watching these for years to come I'll be sorely disappointed.
