Pete being Pete at his best, engaging, entertaining and good golf. Have to say I think the editing on this video was excellent as well, loved the cut scenes, background music and slow motion captures made it even more engaging than normal, excellent video.

The tee off at hole 10 was captured beautifully. The music, the edit. Even Pete having a gentle word with himself before he sent the ball, everything about it was perfect…I watched it about 10 times, probably one of my best viewing moments on RUclips.

You should try nearby Reigate Heath Golf Club - according to Peter Alliss - 'a little gem' - it makes Walton Heath look like a walk in the park!
I liked the heather cam ! I cant believe james braid got a 2 on every hole on the course. What a stud , that place looks amazing. Thanks for showing the normal routing rather than the one we saw from the Women’s Open venue videos.

I think the feeling you mention comes from giving yourself the freedom to experience a course for the first time with no memories of bad holes and no expectations of knowing the course so that you should play well every time. It's grand.
If you liked Walton Heath, give Hankley Common a go!! Similiar heathland course but more spacious and amazing views.

Outstanding work Peter!! Great playing. You didn't miss a single 4 or 5 footer either. Very nice.
And Jacob, here's your distance: 50,000 steps at about 1 yard a step is about 150,000 feet. A mile is 5,280 feet, so you apparently walked 28.4 miles in those three days. A little more than a marathon. Go home and soak your feet and have a few pints. You've earned it.
Really enjoyed this video. As someone who grew up at Walton Heath I can say with some experience, you really did the course justice with your video.
Also you hit the ball a very long way! I have not seen someone clear the tree on the second before.

The new course is a bit easier so you should have a good round there.
Great video Pete and shows Walton Heath in all its stunning glory. Played it many times as an assistant pro and scraped a couple of half decent results round there. Shot 71 on New Course to get my players card in the first year of Qualifying ( finished 11th out of about 280 entrants ) and also won Surrey Alliance Assistants Championship there ( on Old Course I think ) Was nice that on the trophy were a couple old time Ryder Cup players names. Have also been up there many times to watch US Open Qualifying which is held on both New and Old Course. Great day out watching top players and no charge to get in or for parking and spectators not roped off from players ( well wasn't last time I went about 5 years or so ago )
I think Peter says "cut" somewhere between 12 and 16 times. That was never going to cut. Haha! Love it!

Was this filmed before 'A Fairway Down?' If it was after... why is Pete not using the putter that Matt Fryer donated?? He was awesome with that.
