Pizza Tower levels are just like actual pizza joints, some have just the right amount of cheesy goodness to make me wanna come back for more, and others make me want to write an angry one-star review after failing to P-Rank pizzascare for the 50th time.

Pizza tower is the kind of game that is like buying a pizza from a local pizzeria, you can order the whole pizza and only eat a few slices, but if you want the full experience you gotta sit there and eat the whole pizza. At some points you may feel sick and may even throw up, but afterwards, you feel accomplished. And then once you finish it you never want to touch pizza again.
But there’s also a good chance you’ll get addicted to pizza and buy an oven to make your own and go down a rabbit hole of entirely new or modified pizzas due to a crippling addiction
I actually got so excited seeing the spray bottle of one of my favourite bits and then you totally turned it on its head. This is just like how Pizza Tower subverts your expectations around every corner!

I know Pizza Tower became so popular it was probably inevitable but i still think about the tine i played the SAGE demo and thought it'd be the type of game people would buy and then forget about it a month later

Just played the game for the first time recently and I loved it! The fact that every level stood out and was good(!) really makes it a top-tier 2D platform. Also, the editing in this video was hilarious, dude. Love watching it from start to end.

Which is not a problem with the first level, but I can’t imagine how more painful it is with the other levels!

To be fair, Pizza Tower is very reminiscent of Nintendo games (and I guess Sonic too), specifically Wario Land 4 of which it is sort of a spiritual successor. Kinda like... Undertale (obviously inspired by Earthbound) which is also pretty popular among Nintendo fans.

The John Gutter level is named after Pillar John, the pillar you knock down to start Pizza Time. That's where the reject clones of him are dumped.
