This video was made before TBC and WOTLK Classic, so I don’t think that item was in the game yet. But from looking at wowhead it seems the [Red Rider Air Rifle] will be a gift in one of the Christmas presents this year. In Dragonflight I think it can be purchased in Dalaran and some of the other major cities.
It doesn't work for SOD - you will receive all the rewards without making the quests. I was close to loose 2 hours speaking to the fcking Reindeer as a lvl 25 as I already have the useless rewards in my bag. It should have be illimited use of the rein for this quest to be worth it in SOD
